CAN WEST HAM STOP THE SLIDE? Hello and welcome to this afternoon's coverage of West Ham's trip to Watford. The Hammers are looking to make up lost ground on the top four after three league games without a win, while the Hornets are hoping to crawl away from the relegation zone following four defeats on the bounce.

With Tottenham failing to beat 10-man Southampton at St Mary's, the Hammers are back up to fifth. Watford, meanwhile, look increasingly precarious at the other end of the table.

The West Ham goalkeeper makes two excellent saves, one after another. Having denied Pedro one-on-one, he then keeps out Sierralta's pinpoint header at the ensuing corner.

The Hammers round off a convincing win with a goal for Vlasic after some beautiful build-up play from Bowen, who cuts in from the right, goes past Sierralta and picks him out with a simple pass.

Bowen sets up his teammate with a delicate pass, but Antonio goes for power over precision and Bachmann makes a courageous save.

Moyes gleefully eats into the last few minutes of the game with a third substitution in quick succesion, Lanzini coming off for Alex Kral.

... with Vlasic coming on for Benrahma, who has been impressive in attack today.

Johnson is off for Masuaku, who makes his 100th Premier League appearance.

... with Dawson picking up a yellow card for timewasting at a free kick.

Another Watford set piece ends with Kucka attempting an overhead kick which floats harmlessly wide.

Watford win a free kick out on the right and the ball comes to King at the near post, but he nudges a shot just wide.

King gets down the right flank, weaves his way into the box and tries to roll one into the far corner, but Fabianski gets down well, saves and holds.

Dawson catches Pedro with an elbow in the air, leaving the Brazilian forward crumpled on the turf. It looks like he'll be fine to continue, thankfully. Ranieri makes his third change of the game in the meantime, bringing on Ken Sema for Ozan Tufan.

Noble makes no mistake from the spot, sweeping the ball into the bottom left corner. West Ham lead 3-1, which may well be enough to earn them all three points.

Antonio lofts a cross into the box from the right and Bowen gets in front of Bachmann, who catches him without getting a touch on the ball. England goes to the monitor once more and awards the spot kick.

West Ham almost work an opening but Soucek is dispossessed on the edge of the area. Watford counter-attack and Dennis sends in a cross which is deflected away as far as Moussa Sissoko, who forces Fabianski to make an excellent reflex save.

Bowen has the ball in the back of the net, but referee Darren England is called to the monitor. The goal is ruled out for a foul on Dennis from Soucek in the build-up.

King gets up the right flank and whips a cross into the box, but he can't quite pick out a teammate.

... with Ranieri making another substitution before the restart, Joao Pedro coming on for Hernandez.

Watford made the faster start but, following Dennis' opener, West Ham took control. The visitors end the first half with 63 per cent possession and 10 shots to Watford's four. Ranieri's side need to regroup at half time, having spent much of the first half in their own final third. That said, they are still in the game and a comeback certainly isn't out of the question.
