What an end to the game. Manchester United hold on for victory.

SAVED! De Gea saves the penalty diving to his left.

Noble comes on for Bowen. Coming on to take the penalty?

PENALTY! A VAR review sees a penalty given.

West Ham appeal for a penalty after Bowen's cross strikes the outstretched arm of Luke Shaw.

Ronaldo goes down in the box brought down by Zouma but no penalty is given. This looked a better shout.

GOAL FOR MAN UTD! Lingard has time to turn in the box and curls an unstoppable effort past Fabianski into the top right hand corner.

West Ham bring Lanzini on for Fornals and the visitors replace Fred with Matic.

Lingard puts a cross into the box but Fabianski comes out to claim the cross.

A corner is cleared to Fornals just outside the box and he brings the ball down quickly before shooting wide of the target.

Zouma with a crucial clearance after Fernandes put in a lovely low cross for Ronaldo at the back post.

Ronaldo goes down in the box when he ran into Coufal but the referee waves away the protests.

Lingard plays in Fernandes who shoots from long distance but it is easy for Fabianski to save.

Rice with a superb run to the left flank but no Hammers make a run for him and indeed Yarmolenko gets in his way before losing the ball.

The play largely in the visitors half here and Solskjaer makes a double change. Sancho on for Greenwood and Lingard on for Pogba.

Soucek is penalised for a foul on Wan Bissaka in the box when it looks like it could have gone the other way. Surprised there was no VAR check there.

Vlasic is replaced by Yarmolenko.

Coufal puts a dangerous ball across the area but Manchester United clear.

Fernandes drives a cross from the right flank but Coufal gets to the ball ahead of Ronaldo.

Bowen looks the danger man for West Ham, again he gets beyond Shaw on the left but can't find a team-mate in the box.

Bowen pulls the ball back from the by-line for Fornals who tries a backhell flick but it is well wide of the target.

Maguire meets Shaw's corner but heads wide of the target.

Bowen shoots from outside the box but it is easy for De Gea to gather.

Ronaldo has a great chance to put Man United in front after Fernandes plays him through on goal but Fabianski comes out to block the striker's effort with his feet.

West Ham get the game underway...

Half Time

A very enjoyable half of football, Manchester United were slightly better but a draw feels a fair scoreline at this stage.

Pogba turns Cresswell on the edge of the box and his shot is deflected wide of the goal.

A chance at the other end for Vlasic who meets Cresswell's low cross at the front post and flashes a shot at goal which flies high and wide of the goal.

Ronaldo is slipped in well by Greenwood and fires just inside the far post but Fabianski stretches to stop and grab at the second attempt.

Tenacious tackling from Shaw stops Bowen getting down the right flank.

GOAL FOR MAN UNITED! Ronaldo's shot from Fernandes' cross is saved by Fabianski but he follows up to slam the rebound home.

Ronaldo is again given an opportunity as McTominay put him through on goal but his first touch was poor and Zouma recovered to deny him a second with a crunching tackle. Wan Bissaka then hit a strong effort at Fabianski's near post but the keeper was equal to it.

United attack and Shaw heads back Fernandes' cross back to Ronaldo but his snap volley is well wide of the target.

GOAL FOR WEST HAM! Benrahma shoots from the edge of the box aimed towards the top right corner but it deflects off Varane leaving De Gea with no chance, sending the ball way to the keeper's right, inside the left hand post.

Shaw shoots from outside the area but Fabianski saves diving to his left.

Shaw's corner finds Fernandes at the back post and he strikes a bullet on the volley with his left foot but Fabianski does superbly to tip the ball on to the post.

Fernandes puts in a dangerous cross from the right wing but Ogbonna heads the ball behind.

Ronaldo has his first touch in about 15 minutes after he receives the ball 20 yards from goal, but after three legovers his shot is straight at Fabianski.

Manchester United look a little weak in the box. A lovely move from the Hammers ends with a Coufal ball into the box which is initially headed up in the air by Varane and then McTominay is outmuscled by Fornals and Bowen with the latter shooting at goal and forcing de Gea to save with his feet.

Soucek is urged to shoot from the edge of the box by the crows and does so but skews his effort wide of the target.

Calamitous from Harry Maguire. He lost the ball to Benrahma in the box who played the ball back to Bowen and only a lunging block from Wan Bissaka stopped the former Hull man hitting the target.

Rice looking majestic running through the midfield but the West Ham wide players not as good when he has found them in the last third.

Pogba is back on the field and moving fine. Fernandes tries to play in Greenwood who ran diagonally behind the Hammers defence but the ball was too firm.

Pogba is down in pain after Zouma inadvertently stood on his foot in a tackle.

Shaw swings in a corner from the left that McTominay heads wide of the target.

Man United get the game underway....

A minute's applause for Jimmy Greaves, who of course ended his professional career at West Ham United - at the age of 31. Ronaldo has scored around 200 goals since he turned that age.

I'm forever blowing bubbles is playing, the players are on the field, we are not far away now.

There has been a lot of talk linking Declan Rice with a move to Manchester United, as Roy Keane just said on the television coverage, it will be interesting if he dominated the Red Devils midfield who are on paper the weakness of their side.

A 3-0 win will take Manchester United back to the top, while a home win will see the Hammers move up to second in the table, at least until Chelsea play Spurs later today.

After shuffling the deck midweek in the loss to Young Boys, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has brought back Raphael Varane at centre back in place of Victor Lindelof, Scott McTominay in midfield for Donny van de Beek and Mason Greenwood, who starts ahead of Jadon Sancho.

The rest of the Hammers side remains the same from their last Premier league game with the exception of Kurt Zouma replacing Craig Dawson at centre half.

The big absentee today is Michail Antonio, about as exciting a forward in the Premier League but absent due to a second booking he picked up in injury time in the Hammers' draw at Southampton last time out. Nikola Vlasic replaces him.

This is the Manchester United side who will take the field in just under an hour...

This is how the Hammers are lining up today...
