Wilhelmsson set for Prem
Christian Wilhelmsson's career at Roma is over with a move to the Premiership likely, according to the midfielder's agent.
The Sweden international's future has been the subject of much speculation over recent weeks with Giallorossi boss Luciano Spalletti claiming that the Coppa Italia winners "need to replace" the 27-year-old.
Wilhelmsson was holding out hope that he could stay at the Stadio Olimpico after spending a successful season-long loan in the Italian capital last term, but agent Fabio confirmed the Nantes-owned player will not appear for Roma again.
"That door is closed", Alho told Aftonbladet.
The former Anderlecht player's situation has alerted new Manchester City manager Sven-Goran Eriksson, who is reportedly keen on making Wilhelmsson his first signing at Eastlands.
But Alho refused to confirm if City were on the Premiership clubs interested.
He said: "We are talking to four clubs at the moment, three of which are in Premier League, but I can't say if one of them is Manchester City.
"All I can say it's that a deal should be reached within the next two weeks."
