Mehdi Taremi could be on the move this transfer window with AC Milan reportedly keen to secure the services of Primeira Liga's top scorer last season. However, according to reports in Portugal, his club Porto would require a fee of a minimum of €20m to begin negotiations for the prolific striker should he move this transfer window. The Iran international's contract expires next summer.

Porto's star striker Mehdi Taremi has been priced at €20 million (£17.1m) should a club wish to sign him this transfer window.
The Iran international, who was the leading Primeira Liga scorer in the 2022-23 season with 22 goals, is reportedly a transfer target of AC Milan.
Iranian outlet Imna adds that Manchester United and Bayern Munich are also interested in signing the 31-year-old.
AC Milan are looking for a replacement for Zlatan Ibrahimovic who retired at the end of the 2022-23 season and to also offer cover for France international Olivier Giroud.
O Jogo reports that Milan only have €10m to spend on a striker this summer, which would not be enough to secure the services of Taremi.
In the 2021-22 season Taremi netted 26 goals and in 2022-23 he scored 31 in all competitions.
The newspaper reports that the reason the Primeira Liga champions would require at least €20m is because they own 85% of the player's economic rights while the player himself owns the rest.
Taremi's contract expires at the end of the 2023-24 season, meaning the club would need to sell the striker by June 30 should they wish to extract maximum value from him if he decides not to extend his contract at Porto.
Porto signed Taremi from Rio Ave in August 2020 for €4.7m (£4m) and he has a release clause of €60m (£51.3m).
It is expected that Taremi would require a substantial salary increase if he was to sign a new contract at Porto.
