Celtic went ahead through new boy Moussa Dembele, who headed Celtic a goal up from a corner just after the half hour mark.

The home side then added another 10 minutes afterwards as Dembele grabbed a second, and it looked as if it would be an easy afternoon for Celtic. However, Joe Garner pulled one back late in the first half.

Philippe Senderos was sent off for a second bookable offence as he made his debut for Rangers, and Dembele added a fourth to complete his hat-trick.

Stuart Armstrong added a fifth in added time to secure a comfortable victory.
