The Ukrainian title-winners head into the contest having secured victory in only two of their last nine games in all competitions.
They and Benfica are currently third and fourth in the group respectively, both on one point from two games - a point behind second-placed Besiktas and five off leaders Napoli.
Rebrov, quoted by uefa.com, said: "Benfica are the best team in Portugal, so we know how difficult our task is.
"We have to be at our absolute best to stand up to such opponents.
"We were disappointed with our last league result (a 1-1 draw at Chornomorets Odesa on Saturday), but now our players are even more motivated. They want to prove that was just a slip-up.
"I have faith in my team - I see their desire.
"We have dropped some important points (in the Ukrainian league and Champions League) but nothing is lost yet. We have to move forward and do our best in every game."
Meanwhile, Pizzi will put his friendship with Kiev's Vitorino Antunes - a fellow Portugal international - to one side when the teams clash, with the midfielder fully focused on helping Benfica to victory.
" All matches are important. This one is not decisive but we want to win. We always do," Pizzi said on Benfica's official Twitter account.
"We know what we need to do if we want to win this match.
"I'm good friends with Antunes but I want him to lose tomorrow. Dynamo Kiev have excellent players who can control a game, but we're going to do everything in our reach to win."
