Catania's Serie A game against Ascoli has been postponed until May 2 following an Italian court ruling. The game, originally scheduled for Sunday, was due to be played on Wednesday following an initial decision.
However, a local court in the Sicilian city and the Italian football authorities reached an agreement to see a two-week delay.
It will be the first match back at Catania's Angelo Massimino stadium since a policeman was killed at a Sicilian derby against Palermo in February.
Since then, Catania's 'home' matches have been played behind closed doors at neutral grounds in northern Italy, to reduce the chances of crowd trouble.
Gli Elefanti have picked up just three points in 11 games since the incident, slipping from fifth in the table into relegation trouble.
