Zampa blasts Guidolin

Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini has blasted Rosanero coach Francesco Guidolin's tactics during Sunday's 2-2 draw with Internazionale.
Palermo, who have been struggling to find any kind of form since the turn of the year, raced into a two-goal first half lead at the Giuseppe Meazza, courtesy of strikes from Andrea Caracciolo and Cristian Zaccardo, and looked set to become the first team to beat the champions this season.
But a dismal second period performance saw them lose the lead, and very nearly the game, as they capitulated completely and only held out for a draw by the skin of their teeth.
And Zamparini, never one to hold back with his words, believes the blame should be shouldered by Guidolin, who took off striker Caracciolo with the score at 2-1, and replaced him with midfielder Guillermo Giacomazzi.
Zamparini told Radio Anch'Io Sport: "He [Guidolin] is too downbeat, I want a happier coach. I am pleased with the performance of my team but disappointed with my coach.
"I spoke to him and told him not to be afraid because we had nothing to lose. What were we risking?"
Palermo have now not won since the beginning of February, and Guidolin's job has increasingly come under threat in the notoriously trigger-happy environment of Serie A, with Zamparini suggesting only last week that the coach is skating in thin ice.
