Cops catch alleged Mafia kingpin as he's distracted watching Inter v Napoli
An alleged mafia boss was arrested on Saturday, after being distracted by watching Inter Milan v Napoli.
The Partenopei were defeated 2-0 at San Siro, and Italian police used the occasion to arrest Roberto Manganiello, listed as one of Italy’s 100 most dangerous criminals.
The 35-year-old was linked to a double homicide in 2004, which began a bloody gang war in Naples.
Mangianello was arrested during the match on Saturday night, when detectives disguised as pizza delivery boys visited his home in Orta di Atella.
The alleged mobster is believed to be a major player in the Camorra mafia, and offered no resistance as he was arrested along with a 30-year-old Neapolitan woman.
