Juventus are considering 21-year-old Aston Villa goalkeeper Pierluigi Gollini as a long term replacement for Gianluigi Buffon, according to reports.
The Bologna-native spent two years in Manchester United’s youth sector, before signing his first professional contract with Hellas Verona in 2014.
Gollini has also represented Italy at U-19, U-20 and U-21 levels, and this has caught the eye of Bianconeri officials.
He then joined Championship side Aston Villa this summer, and according to the Birmingham Mail is being looked at by Juventus, as they consider their options for replacing 39-year-old Buffon.
So far this season Gollini has appeared in all but one of Villa's 13 games in the Championship and he has kept three clean sheets during that period.
Villa won their first away game in 14 months on Tuesday evening as they beat Reading 2-1 and they are now 17th in the table.
