Inter Milan hints at Ever Banega interest

Inter Milan coach Roberto Mancini has hinted that his club are interested in signing Sevilla midfielder Ever Banega.

The Argentine, who has also been linked to Manchester United, will reportedly undergo a medical with the Nerazzurri this week after agreeing personal terms ahead of a switch this summer, but the deal has been made complicated due to a clause in the player’s current contract, which stipulates an automatic extension if he plays 30 games this season.

Nonetheless, Mancini told Gazzetta dello Sport: “Ever Banega is a very good and experienced player.

“He has a strong personality and will soon become a free agent, but for now he belongs to Sevilla.

“Do I like Banega? Yes.”
