The Argentine striker lost the club captaincy in February, with a disgreement over a potential contract renewal.
The protracted talks caused a rupture in relations between Inter and Icardi, and he did not feature for the team for two months, and he has scored just once since his return to the side at the start of April.
Icardi was stripped of the captaincy in February as protracted contract talks caused reported tension with the club's hierarchy. His current deal expires in 2021.
The 26-year-old striker has been linked with a move to Manchester United and Real Madrid, but his wife Nara claims that he will still be at the club next season.
Speaking to Verissimo, she said: "Mauro continues to score, he goes ahead because he is the strength of the family.
"Now he is calmer, he embraces everyone because he has always had a beautiful relationship with everyone.
"We will be here [at Inter] again next year."
Inter face Roma this weekend as the two sides chase a Champions League place.
