Moise Kean put the racism row behind him to come off the bench to score a dramatic winner for Juventus who came from behind to beat AC Milan 2-1.
Juve, who can clinch an eighth straight Scudetto on Sunday if Napoli lose to Genoa, were below par in the first half and missed the creativity of the injured Cristiano Ronaldo.
And Max Allegri’s side were dealt an early blow when Emre Can went off with an ankle injury and was replaced by Sami Khedira, his first game back since having heart surgery.
Gennaro Gattuso’s side created the better chances and had a penalty appeal turned down by VAR after Alex Sandro’s handball.
And the Rossinerri took the lead when Leonardo Bonucci gave the ball away and Krzysztof Piatek scored his tenth goal of the season for the club.
The Bianconeri were better after the break and equalised in controversial fashion when Dybala was awarded a penalty after a tussle with Mateo Musacchio. And the Argentine stepped up to score from the spot-kick for the equaliser.
But it was Kean, who was subjected to racist abuse after scoring against Cagliari in midweek, who had the final say again after scoring with a low finish after fellow substitute Miralem Pjanic’s brilliant disguised pass.

TALKING POINT

Should Juve have been awarded a penalty?
VAR did not take long to award Dybala the spot-kick in contract to the nearly 3 minute deliberation of Sandro’s handball in the first half. And there was an argument that the Argentine had fouled Musacchio before being fouled himself.

MAN OF THE MATCH

Krzysztof Piatek (AC Milan): The 23-year-old scored his 31st goal in all competitions with a well taken finish. He leads the line well and was a nightmare for the normally unflappable Daniele Rugani with his pace. Piatek is the top scorer for Milan and his previous club Genoa.

KEY MOMENTS:

3’ - WHAT A MISS! Suso in space down the right floats in a cross and Piatek heads it wide at the back post with the goal at his mercy.
35’ - PENALTY APPEAL! Milan win a corner after Calhanoglu's cross is blocked by Sandro. Was that a handball? VAR is checking but no penalty is given.
39’ - GOAL FOR MILAN! Piatek fires in a low finish from Bakayoko's pass after Bonucci gave the ball away.
45’+2 - CLOSE! Dybala is pushed by Bakayoko on the right side of the box. Bernadeschi's cross is cleared, it comes back into the box and Mandjukic's cicycle kick is tipped over by Reina.
59’ - PENALTY TO JUVE! Fine ball from Bonucci over the top to Dybala who is tripped by Musacchio after a quick VAR review. And Dybala slots the penalty down the centre to equalise.
71’ - CHANCE! From a corner, Mandzukic heads it down for Kean who slides in and puts it over from close range.
79’ - CLOSE! Juve have a corner from the right, the cross comes in for Sandro who heads it wide from close range. He should have found the target from there.
84’ - GOAL FOR JUVE! Kean drills a low effort from inside the box after Pjanic's disguised pass.
