Parma centre-back Bruno Alves was obviously taking notes from Lionel Messi on Saturday night as he scored an outrageous free-kick of his own for Parma during their Serie A clash with Chievo on Sunday afternoon.
With Parma trailing 1-0, the 37-year-old, who had his contract terminated at Rangers in the summer, took aim from 35 yards and produced a free-kick of absolute majesty.
Ain't no goalkeeper in the world saving that!
Boom indeed.
