Chisea leans back and volleys over the bar, and that could be that for Juve's attempts of drawing level.

Juve chance! Elmas fails to clear his lines and Chiesa pounces but strikes it agonisingly wide!

Defeat would keep Juventus in third, seven points behind leaders Milan who play at Spezia later this evening.

As it stands Napoli would move into fourth, closing the gap on third-placed Juventus to just two points. So much for a crisis!

Juventus are getting desperate now as the clock ticks closer to 90'. Two quick-fire corners end in frustration, but Napoli are camped in their own half and there's no way out at the moment. Ten minutes to hold on!

Lozano is hurt in the process of clearing with his head at the near post, and he requires some treatment, and some ice.

Goal disallowed! Morata takes an excellent touch and fires in what he thinks is the equaliser, but it's ruled offside, Chiellini - who registered the assist - was offside.

Napoli are desperately trying to get a foothold in this second-half. Although Juve have dominated since the restart, they have nothing yet to show for it.

Chance for Juve! The visitors work a really smart free-kick routine and Chiesa lets fly with a venomous shot from the edge of the penalty area. It's straight at Meret, but he sees it late and does brilliantly to palm it away to safety.

Yellow card! Bakayoko goes into the book for a foul on Danilo, and that was inevitable.

A slight concern for Napoli as Bakayoko goes down following a challenge from Bentancur. But he's going to be fine.

Over! Ronaldo gets his free-kick up and over the wall on this occasion but can't test Meret as the ball flies over his bar.

Napoli cannot get out of their own half at the moment, and Bakayoko concedes a cheap free-kick on Ronaldo in a dangerous area.

Chance for Ronaldo! And from the resultant corner, Meret makes an excellent save to keep out a Ronaldo effort from point-blank range, and somehow even holds onto it. Can Napoli weather the storm?

Danilo steps in as Napoli concede possession in a dangerous position. He shoots early and the ball takes a deflection for another Juventus corner.

Ronaldo scuffs a shot, but he gets a second bite of the cherry, this time firing just wide. Much, much better from Juve.

Juve start the second-half on the front foot, Morata heading wide with an effort that lacked power and accuracy.

Chiesa carves inside from the left, tries to find the top corner with an ambitious shot but doesn't get his angles right.

Mario Rui does well to stop the run of Bernardeschi and then draws the foul from the Juve midfielder to allow Napoli a breather.

Chiellini has recovered well from conceding the penalty and subsequent yellow card and he's in the right place to block Zielinski's shot.

End to end stuff here in Naples as Morata leads Juve's counter-attack but runs into trouble as he approaches the penalty area.

Insigne darts past de Ligt but his shot is excellently blocked by Chiellini.

Chiesa is muscled off the ball by Lorenzo and wants a free-kick, but his appeal is ignored by the referee. Chiesa's expresses his frustration with a ran at the touchline. It's not going Juve's way at the moment.

Juventus' recent form has been excellent, but they can't afford many more slip-ups. Lose today and they will remain seven points behind leaders Milan having played the same number of games.

Have a look!

Chiellini is playing a dangerous game as he slides in hard on Osimhen. He wins the ball on this occasion, though. Insigne then fires over the bar. Napoli's tails are up!

GOAL! Napoli 1-0 Juventus (Lorenzo Insigne, pen): An excellent penalty from Insigne gives Napoli the lead! He slams it into the roof of the net, Szcznesy had no chance!

Penalty to Napoli! After consultation, the referee points to the spot and books Chiellini! Insigne is going to take the spot-kick, and what a golden opportunity for the hosts!

Possible Napoli penalty! Rrahmani is down inside the box and screaming in pain after challenging to meet Insigne's cross. He's caught by the arm of Chiellini and VAR is going to have a look at this.

An excellent cross is delivered by the excellent Cuadrado. Meret is brave and gets there before Ronaldo to punch clear. Again, the offside flag is up against the Portuguese, but the Napoli goalkeeper wasn't to know that.

Lozano comes forward for Napoli, leading the counter with a run through the middle. He decides to hit an early shot, but it's never troubling Szcznesy.

Decent spell in the game for Napoli, this. They win two corners in succession, the latest sees Lozano heading wide from a tight angle.

Wide! Excellent defending from De Lit as he matches Lozano for pace and blocks his cross. Insigne pounces on the rebound but his first-time shot fails to test Szcznesy.

Over! Morata dribbles into the box and gets a pass away. Ronaldo leaves it for Bernadeschi, who leans back and blazes a shot high into the stands. Best chance so far.

Cuadrado cuts the ball back into the box where Ronaldo's shot is blocked, but Cuadrado was in offside position anyway.

An excellent ball from Bernadeschi finds Ronaldo, who stays onside this time. But Rui tracks his run all the way and manages to block his cross.

Ronaldo makes a run between the centre-halves but is just caught inches offside. That was close.

CuadraDo is searching for Morata with a devilish cross from the right flank. Rrahmani gets a crucial touch to take it away from the Juve forward.

Juve are quickly back on the attack as Napoli concede possession once more. Ronaldo's shot from distance is easily gathered by Meret on this occasion.

Bernandeschi delivers the cross, Rabiot meets it but can't keep his header down.

Napoli have made a sluggish start, sloppy in possession and now they have a corner to defend as Ronaldo's cross is deflected behind.

Kick-off! We are underway for Napoli versus Juventus in Serie A!

Ospina cannot start and will be replaced by Alex Meret. Disaster for Napoli.

Just 10 minutes until kick-off! Napoli goalkeeper David Ospina has suffered a thigh problem in the warm-up and may not be able to feature in today's game. That's the last thing Gattuso needs!

Did you know? Napoli have lost four of their last six meetings with Juventus in all competitions. On the whole, Partenopei have been beaten in six of their last 12 games in all competitions this calendar year.

Reports suggest that Gattuso will be axed if Napoli fall to another defeat today. When quizzed about the consequences of a loss, Gattuso said: "I don’t know, you have to ask the club. The captain of the ship is me, when things go badly, they are at the expense of the captain. I can’t think of this as the penultimate or last resort, I have to work and I have to be able to trust. I’m a coach, it’s like that. I won’t be the first, nor the last, but I have the duty to try until the end.”

Juventus haven't lost since going down to title rivals Inter at the San Siro last month, and that was their only defeat since the turn of the year. "We are improving, we had lost against Inter and luckily, after that game, we played and won a final," continued Pirlo. "The team have raised the level and understood their mistakes. We begun a convincing path, we knew we needed time to improve on a tactical level. We look at ourselves, we want to win games and get as much points as possible, we want to win in Naples for ourselves, we don’t look at them, but we focus on the teams that are ahead of us."

Pirlo on Napoli: "We’ve already faced them in the Super Cup and tomorrow’s game is more important than the reverse fixture that was not played, these situations can be annoying and we are only focusing on ourselves."

This is the first time this season Napoli and Juventus meet in the Serie A this season - the match scheduled in October didn't take place as Napoli didn't travel due to Covid-19 cases. Pirlo's side emerged victorious when they squared off in the Italian Supercup last month. Gattuso's side have won just two matches since in a poor run of form that has seen them fall to sixth in the table.

Giorgio Chiellini celebrates his 400th Serie A appearance and comes back into the side after being rested for the second leg match against Inter on Tuesday, as Juve target a fourth consecutive clean sheet. Alvaro Morata also returns to the fold to partner Cristiano Ronaldo in attack.

Victor Osimhen returns to lead the line Napoli for his first appearance since November, but under pressure boss Gennaro Gattuso is still without a number of players including Dries Mertens, Kalidou Koulibaly and Kostas Manolas.
