SOCCER-Sassuolo appoint De Zerbi as coach

June 13 (Reuters) - Sassuolo have appointed Roberto De Zerbi as coach on a two-year contract to replace Giuseppe Iachini, the Italian Serie A club said on Wednesday.

The club, which finished the season 11th in the table, sacked Iachini earlier this month.

The 39-year-old coach had a brief stint in the 2016-2017 season at Palermo, who employed five different coaches that season and were relegated from Serie A.
