FT: Southampton 1-1 Tottenham. Fair result on the balance of play. Saints deserved their equaliser through Boufal, cancelling out Son's well-taken opener. Lo Celso again impressive for Spurs. We go again at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Thanks for joining us. Goodbye.

The Spurs full-back was at fault for the Saints equaliser.

Lo Celso with the free-kick from distance, but he fires well over the top.

Four minutes of added time here.

Alli is replaced by Eric Dier for Spurs.

It had been coming. Ings in the thick of it again as he pulls wide, picks out the run of Boufal with an excellent pullback, with the Moroccan firing high into the net with his left foot. His first goal of the season.

GOOOOOOOAAAAAALLLLLl!!!! Southampton 1-1 Tottenham. Boufal smashes a wonderful finish into the net to level things up here!

The balls runs away from Adams in the box as time is starting to run out for Saints.

WIDE! As good a chance as Ings has had all match. Redmond with the cross from the right, Ings gets up highest, but cannot find the target with his head.

Appeals for handball in the box as Ings tries to barge his way through, Nothing given.

Ings does well to work space for the shot but that is always heading wide.

Cup King!

After a short check with VAR Ryan Bertrand goes into the book for a flailing arm.

Che Adams is on for Saints in place of Obafemi.

St Mary's doing its best to try and lift their side, but Spurs are holding firm and looking comfortable.

Change for Saints as Sofiane Boufal comes on for Danso.

Decent response from Saints but they are still yet to really test Lloris.

Djenepo looks for Redmond out wide, but the ball has too much pace on it and runs out of play for a throw.

Lo Celso is absolutely controlling this. Incredible drive from the Argentine.

The boy's a bit special.

How can Saints respond now? They looked a little stunned by Spurs' sudden dominance.

CLOSE! Almost an amazing goal as Lo Celso clips a sumptuous pass onto the right boot of Son, who volleys just over.

VAR checked for a foul by Alli on Danso, but the goal stands. Lo Celso again at the heart of it as he drove forward, Lamela fed Son, who took his time before finding the bottom corner.

GOOOOOOAAAALLLLLL!!! Southampton 0-1 Tottenham. Somewhat against the run of play, on the counter, Son gives Spurs the lead. VAR checking, though...

Change for Spurs as Erik Lamela comes on for the disappointing Fernandes.

Saints break at pace, Obafemi feeds Redmond, who cuts onto his right foot, but his shot it blocked.

CLOSE! Just wide from Ings. Obafemi again with the low cross, Ings just gets a flick on it with his right boot, but the ball fizzes across the face of goal and wide.

Lucas fires the free-kick straight at Gunn, with pace.

Alli drives into the Saints penalty area, the ball breaks for Lucas, but Danso makes the tackle, before conceding a free-kick right on the edge of his box.

Great start to the half from Saints. Redmond again dances past two, but his cross his cut out.

We are back under way here. No changes for either side.

The youngster is really excelling

HT: Southampton 0-0 Tottenham. Great game even without the goals. Spurs have had their chances, and even had the ball in the net, with Lo Celso's strike ruled out for an offside against Son - right call. Saints have had chances of their own, but we still await the opener.

Two minutes of added time at the end of the first half.

Blow for Sainst as Stuart Armstrong has to be withdrawn with an injury. Moussa Djenepo is on in his place.

He is on it today.

Fernandes is yet to really get involved here as he takes a kick from Redmond.

Son does look like he really fancies this today. Running at the Saints backline at will.

Excellent pace to this game, with both sides going for it.

It really was excellent defending.

OFF THE LINE! Tanganga to the rescue for Spurs. Ings hooked the long bouncing ball towards goal after rounding Hugo Lloris, but the youngster was back on the line to head clear.

SAVE! What a save from Gunn! Alli threads a lovely pass through for Lucas, the Brazilian looks certain to score, fires for the bottom former, but Gunn sticks out a leg and just gets enough on it to divert the ball wide.

Gedson Fernandes heads the ball down for Alli, but his effort is blocked. End to end at the moment.

NO GOAL! It is unlucky for Spurs as Lo Celso's well-placed finish from the edge of the box just clips the heel of Son on its way in, with the South Korean in an offside position.

OFFSIDE! Lo Celso has the ball in the net but it is ruled out for offside. We go to VAR...

All Saints at the moment here. Spurs defending in numbers.

Jack Stephens make a rare burst forward, Ings picks him out, but Stephens gets his header all wrong.

First we have really seen of the impressive Giovano Lo Celso on the ball as he tries to feed the ball cleverly through for Son, but the pass is cut out.

Obaefmi drifts out to the right now, tries to find Ings in the middle, but the low cross is just in front of the Sainst hitman.

Nathan Redmond is the epitome of this reformed Saints side at the moment. He is causing Spurs all sorts of problems once more.

He has not been himself lately.

Ball falls for Jan Bednarek on the edge of the box, but his strike is always heading wide.

Obafemi is in space on the left, cuts onto his right foot, but the pass is poor and Spurs clear.

Alli again the danger as he darts through the middle, but just gives Gunn a chance in the Saints goal, and he gathers well.

Much better from Spurs here. Alli really dropping deep and getting involved.

WIDE! So close from Heung-Min Son! Great hold-up play from Dele Alli before he plays a delightful pass through to Son. The angle is tight, Son goes for the far corner, but drills just wide.

Ings the latest target over the top, but there is just too much on the long pass.

All the possession still with Saints early on as Michael Obafemi almost gets in down the channel.

Saints pressing Spurs right back here early on. Great intensity.

KICK OFF! We are up and running here at St Mary's.

We here we go. Saints have won six of their last eight games in all competitions and beat Crystal Palace on Tuesday - more for for Jose on the way?

STRONG TEAMS APIECE, ERIKSEN ABSENT: With a potential departure to Inter Milan on the horizon, there is no Christian Eriksen in the Spurs squad.
