Chelsea got the job done. It looked a little tenuous for a time in the second half but the win and Abraham getting a hat-trick will deliver some much-needed cheer for the Blues. Thanks for following the match with us.

Giroud keeps battling and eventually gets an effort at goal but it is straight at Sluga.

Hudson-Odoi tred to curl the ball into the far corner but is a couple of yards wide. He has been lively.

SAVED! Sluga dives to his left and denies the German striker a much-needed goal. From a personal rather than team perspective.

Penalty! Immediately Kovacic plays a lovely ball through for Werner who is felled by Clark as he is about to go around Sluga.

Ziyech and Abraham come off for Havertz and Abraham.

Moncur comes on for Naismith and immediately has a shot at goal.

GOAL FOR CHELSEA! Hat-trick for Abraham after great line up play from Hudson-Odoi and Gilmour. The two youngsters exchanged two passes eventually leaving the England winger just before the by-line and he passed it square for Chelsea's number nine to sidefoot home.

Great cross from Hudson-Odoi, beating the man and getting to the by-line, and Abraham gets up to head at goal but misses the target. The hat-trick doesn't look like coming.

James' cross comes to Hudson-Odoi at the back post but after a good first touch he puts in a tame shot which is blocked.

Hudson-Odoi comes on for Pulisic.

Werner went down looking for a penalty, Mpanzu had a slight hold of his arm but not enough for a penalty surely. VAR looking at it.

Pulisic went down under a challenge from Bree a minute ago but the VAR checked and cleared the incident.

Another chance for Luton! They win the corner heading it back into the six-yard box but Lockyer just fails to get good contact with the ball and was offside anyhow.

Berry, LuaLua and Collins come on for Tinnicliffe, Bree and Cornick.

GREAT SAVE! Kepa stops Cornick after a great run down the left from Potts sets up Mpanzu who sets up the striker but his effort is saved by a raised left arm from the beleaguered Chelsea keeper.

Ziyech the hub of everything good for Chlesea, he get to the by-line drawing two players before sliding back to Mount but he spoons his effort high over the bar.

Lovely ball from Ziyech after he gets a short corner back to him. Abraham is too late to get to the ball to tap home at the back post.

Kepa out of his goal to deal with a long kick from Sluga that threatened to set Cornick through on goal.
