Just two minutes will be added on at the end of this third round tie.
Giroud nearly gets in on the act as he runs in behind to meet Tomoro's cross, but he can't find a way past the Morecambe goalkeeper.
- GoalKai HavertzChelsea
GOAL! Chelsea 4-0 Morecambe (Kai Havertz): Hudson-Odoi rolls it down the right flank for Azpilicueta and he delivers a cross to the centre. Havertz climbs above his marker and adds Chelsea's fourth with a nice header. G
Frustration for Giroud, who thinks he has won Chelsea a corner but the referee thinks not.
Leeds United, by the way, are losing 3-0 to Crawley Town, which is quite something.
Double Chelsea sub: Tino Anjorin comes on for Hudson-Odoi for his fourth apperance, while Fikayo Tomori replaces Zouma.
Yellow card! The referee allows play to continue after Gibson fouls Hudson-Odoi, but he comes back to caution the Morecambe player.
Rudiger gives away a needless free-kick. It's delivered to the far post where Davis rises highest but he fails to generate any power in his header to test Kepa.
Morecambe sub: Lyons comes on for Gomes with 15 minutes left to play.
Chelsea sub: Mount, Chelsea's opening goalscorer, is replaced by Tammy Abraham.
Double Halstead save! Azpilicueta rolls it back to Havertz, whose shot is saved by Halstead from point-blank range. And the Morecambe goalkeeper gathers himself to save Mount's effort on the rebound!
Hudson-Odoi has switched to the right flank now, with Pulisic operating on the left.
Double Chelsea sub: Christian Pulisic comes on for Ziyech, and Werner makes way for Olivier Giroud.
Ziyech may have registered two assists, but his shooting boots need looked at. His latest effort isn't pretty, and that's going to be his last contribution...
Chelsea are camped in Morecambe's half as they search for a fourth. Havertz's low cross is cleared only as far as Ziyech, whose ambitious shot from distance is sent well wide of Halstead's goal.
Triple Morecambe subs: Liam Gibson, Kevin Mellor and John O'Sullivan come on for the visitors, with Cooney, Hendrie and Slew replaced.
Chelsea are guilty of trying to walk the ball into the net on this occasion, as Mount is played through on the right side of the penalty area, but he tries to pick out a team mate in the middle rather than shooting and Morecambe have enough men back to clear their lines.
Ziyech makes a clever run behind the Morecambe defence to latch onto Rudiger's pass over the top. But he can't quite get the ball under his control and Halstead races off his line to gather.
That third goal seems to have killed Morecambe's hopes. Their body language suggests their focus is now elsewhere.
Werner almost repays Havertz's earlier assist as he bends a cross to the near post, but the latter's first-time shot isn't troubling Halstead.
Ziyech is determined to get on the scoresheet himself as he lets fly with a powerful effort from distance. It hasn't enough dip though as it drifts agonisingly over the top of the bar.
- GoalCallum Hudson-OdoiChelsea
GOAL! Chelsea 3-0 Morecambe (Callum Hudson-Odoi): Hudson-Odoi gets on the scoresheet for the second successive game, but Ziyech has to take the credit. He picks out Hudson-Odoi with a lovely ball over the top and the English forward makes no mistake as he slots it past Halstead with a cool finish.
Hudson-Odoi is caught by Songo'o's stray arm, but the Chelsea forward will be fine to continue without any treatment.
No changes made by either manager at the break, by the way. Lampard saw his side have 87 per cent of possession in the first half but he'll be hoping for more goals in the second period.
Kick-off! Chelsea get the second half underway.
Have a look at Chelsea's opener...
HT: Chelsea go into the break two goals to the good, thanks to Mason Mount and Timo Werner.
- GoalTimo WernerChelsea
GOAL! Chelsea 2-0 Morecambe (Timo Werner): Ziyech stands up a beautiful cross to the far post, Havertz is just onside as he heads into the path of Werner and it's a simple finish for the forward, who scores his first goal in 13 games.
Werner overhits a pass to Mount, and Morecambe survive again.
Chelsea have had 88 per cent of possession so far.
Azpilicueta slides a pass down the right for Mount to run onto. He's searching for Werner with his low cross, but Knight-Percival gets across to make the intervention.
With just five minutes until half-time, you have to say Morecambe boss Adams will be the happier of the two managers. For all of Chelsea's dominance, they haven't created enough opportunities.
Hudson-Odoi drives into space on the left after playing a clever give-and-go with Mount. But again the forward's cross is poor.
Davis has been alert in Morecambe's defence and he spots the run of Werner at the back post and does well to head Ziyech's deep cross clear.
Chelsea have taken their foot off the gas for now, allowing everyone for a breather.
A lovely ball from Mount reverse releases Hudson-Odoi on the left. He has plenty of time to pick his pass but drives it towards the near post and Davis makes the block.
Werner has a clear sight at goal but slips as he takes the shot and can only watch as the ball ends up high in the stands.
A scare for Chelsea as Havertz puts his goalkeeper under all kind of pressure with an awkward attempted clearance. Kepa is alert to push it wide, but that was an almighty mix up as the hosts tried to clear a throw-in.
Much more positive from Morecambe. After wasting a rare free-kick, they recover possession and Chelsea have defending to do from Phillip's delivery.
Emerson registers his third shot of the afternoon already, testing Halstead with a dipping shot from 25 yards out. It's awkward for the goalkeeper, who can only parry it into the path of Werner. But the linesman has his flag raised for offside.
Chelsea continue to exert pressure as they force a corner, with Emerson's shot deflected behind. Mount picks out the unmarked Rudiger at the near post, but he can't keep his side-footed effort down.
- GoalMason MountChelsea
GOAL! Chelsea 1-0 Morecambe (Mason Mount): Emerson does well to keep the ball in play on the left before rolling it to Hudson-Odoi. He centres it to Mount, who is in acres of space from 25 yards out. The goalkeeper may be unsighted as the Chelsea midfielder fires it into the bottom corner with Halstead rooted to the spot.
Chelsea pile into the Morecambe penalty area, and in the end they get in each other's way as another attack fizzes out.
Chelsea are back on the attack, with Hudson-Odoi carving in off the left. He curls a shot at goal, but it takes a deflection and the hosts have a corner.
Morecambe go close! Oh my, what a moment that would have been for the League Two side! Phillips drives down the right flank and almost catches Kepa off guard with a cross that is creeping in. The Chelsea goalkeeper does well to recover, diving on the ball before it can cross the line.
It's worth noting that Morecambe have not played a competitive fixture since Boxing Day following a coronavirus outbreak at the club. They haven't started the match well but their lack of match fitness may become evident later in the afternoon.
Ziyech's deep cross is a comfortable catch for Morecambe goalkeeper Halstead.
Shot! Some nice interchange from Chelsea as Mount sees his left-footed shot blocked on the edge of the penalty area. Emerson shoots wide from the rebound.
Hudson-Odoi darts past a couple of challenges on the left flank, but his cross, searching for Ziyech at the far post, is wayward.
Ziyech moves in-field and tries to find the overlapping Azpilicueta, but his pass is a little heavy and it rolls out for a Morecambe goal-kick.
A half-chance for Werner, who heads wide from Ziyech's deep cross. Davis exerted just enough pressure on the Chelsea forward to put him off.
Morecambe started on the front foot immediately from kick-off, with Slew driving through the middle of the pitch before Emerson made the interception and played a poor pass back to Kepa. The Chelsea goalkeeper managed to clear.
Kick-off! The players, staff and officials take the knee before Morecambe, in their red shirts, get us underway.
Right, it's a strong Chelsea side hosting Morecambe, of the fourth tier, in the FA Cup at Stamford Bridge. Kick-off is just FIVE minutes away now, it's LIVE and it's coming up NEXT!
Pre-match stat: The last team from a lower division to beat Chelsea in the FA Cup was Bradford City in the fourth round in 2015 at Stamford Bridge. The Bantams were sixth in League One at the time and ended the Blue's run of 12 successive home victories by winning 4-2.
A great day out for the 'Shrimps'...
Lampard has been explaining his reasons on why he has omitted his young players. "The youngsters have trained well with us but at the same time sometimes you need to give first-team squad members a game to get some minutes."
Did you know? Chelsea have played tier four sides in the FA Cup on nine occasions, winning seven. The two defeats both came at Stamford Bridge, against Crewe Alexandra (1-2) in 1960/61 and Wigan (0-1) in 1979/80.
Morecambe are the surprise packages of this season's League Two campaign, and manager Derek Adams insists he will continue with an attacking approach this afternoon. “Obviously without a doubt a team like Chelsea, whatever changes they make, will create a great deal of problems for any side," said Adams. “We will have to stick to the gameplan, but if we do that then we will also create opportunities for ourselves in the game. The challenge then is that, when those opportunities come along, how clinical can we be in front of goal."
Pre-match stat: Chelsea are looking to progress to the FA Cup fourth round for the 23rd consecutive season. It would be one almighty shock if Morecambe, seventh in League Two, were to put an end to such a remarkable run, and probably cost Lampard his job.
Kepa comes in from the cold to make his 100th appearance for the club - but could it be his last? "At the moment he is our player and the situation is clear, Edou [Mendy] has come in and been playing regularly as the no.1 and Kepa came into the last Champions League game and did well," said Lampard (per the official Chelsea website). "He is training really well and his attitude around the place has been brilliant. He is our player and we will see how January goes."
It's also quite surprising that Tino Anjorin is the only youth player involved for Chelsea - he's on the bench. A number had been training with the first team this week.
That's a strong side Lampard has picked, there is no doubt about it. Timo Werner leads the attack, flanked by Hakim Ziyech and Callum Hudson-Odoi. Mason Mount starts in midfield, as does Kai Havertz, and Kurt Zouma and Antonio Rudiger are included in defence.
