KICK OFF! Everton get us underway.
DID YOU KNOW? City's Gabriel Jesus has been involved in 13 goals in his 14 appearances in the FA Cup (nine goals, four assists). But interestingly, the last eight of the competition is the only round he hasn't netted in - yet.
That's some bench!
Kevin de Bruyne (on the bench today) on City’s mean streak in defence: “It’s easier for us (attackers) when we don’t concede. I think it’s always important when you’re stable as a defence and as a team, it gives the whole team confidence.”
As we continue to build up to this cup tie, why not take a moment to catch up on our latest Euro Papers video?
Allan: "We know this competition is a priority – it is important and an opportunity. We will give our all, our everything – we need to think, we are only three games from winning a trophy."
Guardiola on Everton: “The quality of their players is there, no doubt about it. But it is another incredible opportunity in a competition. It is the last game before the international break. Hopefully we can finish well and when we come back the important part of the season starts."
City make six changes from the Champions League win over Borussia Monchengladbach. Zack Steffen gets the nod between the sticks while Aymeric Laporte, Oleksandr Zinchenko, Fernandinho, Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus all feature.
Virginia is one of four changes for Everton following their disappointing home loss to Burnley. Yerry Mina, Seamus Coleman and Gylfi Sigurdsson come in.
Carlo Ancelotti on having to play third-choice stopper Joao Virginia: “Joao is young, a goalkeeper without experience, but he has a lot of quality. I don't think it's an easy game for City. They have better quality than us, but I'm sure they will have a difficult game. It's a knockout, a really important game. We have a big desire to go forward in this competition. I have confidence as usual, above all in this type of game. We are focused, we are concentrated."
