Full Time

A creditable display for Marine in the end. You did fear for them at half time. The game was dead but they at least stopped Spurs humiliating them. Otherwise a memorable day for Carlos Vinicius.and Alfie Devine. Thanks for following the match with us. And of course Neil Dengni who will see that ball dipping over Joe Hart and willing it to go in for the rest of his life.

Great set up for Vinicius from Devine, but after the Brazilian turned and seemed certain to score he blasted wide.

Two minutes of injury time to be played.

The game is drifting away now. Both teams are satisfied. At 4-0 down at the break Marine will be happy if it ends just the five.

Shaw comes on for Raven for Marine.

James Joyce is fittingly the first man whose name has gone in the book.

Arsenal fan Cummins leaves the field without the goal he dreamt of scoring, to be replaced by Wignall.

Clarke dribbles into the box and plays it back to White who fires high over the bar.

Bale hits a free kick from 25 yards which is straight at Passant but he takes no chances with a dipping effort and parries it away.

Doyle comes on for Hmami for Marine.

Bale replaces Alli, it will be a thrill for Marine to play against him. Clarke also replaces Moura for his second Spurs appearance.

White curls a free kick for Spurs over the bar.

GOAL FOR SPURS! 16-year-old Alfie Devine gets his first goal for Spurs on his debut. He turns inside his man and then fired low inside the near post past Passant.

Davies flashes a ball across the six-yard box and Moura gets a side-foot to it but not a good contact and it flies wide.

Vinicius pulls down a long ball from Moura and turns to volley the ball high over the bar and down the Crosby high street.

A good passage of play for Marine with the game mainly being played in the Spurs half and Hmami tried an effort from 30 yards but it tamely dribbles wide of the goal.

Kengni tries another effort from 25 yards out but this time it is easy for Hart to gather.

Alfie Devine and Tanganga come on for Sissoko and Alderweireld for Spurs. Marine have thrown another forward on for a centre back with Howard replacing Hughes.

Marine get us back underway.

Half Time

So close to a great FA Cup moment for Marine's Neil Dingni but the half then belonged to Vinicius who has a hat-trick. It will be up to Spurs how much they want to win this game by now. You have to think Marine will tire in the closing stages with their league not going at present.

Cummins putting himself about, fouling Gedson and Sissoko in quick succession.

GOAL FOR SPURS! HAT-TRICK FOR VINICIUS! This one was classy. He had too much time in the box after winning the ball in a tackle but then flicked it up for himself and on the half-volley side-footed the ball into the top corner.

Marine in a rare forage into the Spurs area and Joyce has a chance to shoot at goal but Rodon gets across to block his effort.

Davies is played the ball inside the left hand side of the penalty area by Moura and he aims for the far post but it flies high and wide of the target.

GOAL FOR SPURS! A free kick from a central area and Moura curled it at great speed over the end of the wall and into the corner.

GOAL FOR SPURS! A second for Vinicius. And another tap in. A great pass from Alli found Doherty whose effort was well saved by Passant but it came to Vinicius again on his own in the six yard box and he notched his second.

Gedson Fernandes has another effort from long range but high over the bar.

GOAL FOR SPURS! Dele Alli danced into the penalty area and then passed to the back post where Vinicius recovered from an initial miscontrol, before moving the ball past the prone Marine keeper and blasting home.

If nothing else, Marine and apprentice plumber Neil Kengni have given us a genuine moment we won't forget.

A good inswinging corner which Hart punches away. Marine then appeal for a handball but the referee waves play on. No VAR and with the player turning his back and with arms by his side almost certainly wouldn't have been given anyway,

MARINE HIT THE BAR! Kengni smashes an effort from fully 35 yards and Joe Hart thought it was going over the top but it dipped and hit the face of the bar after which the Spurs keeper tipped it over.

They've made it through a sixth of the game without conceding.

Hmami launches a free kick into the box and Marine send their big lads up for it but Spurs clear the danger.

Again the wall holds strong as Moura crashes his effort into it.

Hmami is adjudged to have brought down White 25 yards from goal on the left hand side of the penalty area. It looked a borderline decision.

Moura turns superbly 40 yards from goal and then runs to the edge of the box before striking it over the bar.

Is worth remembering that Marine's league is currently cancelled so a tough task made much harder. Nearly ten minutes down though.

Doherty puts a ball in the from the right flank and Vinicius seemed to have an age in the box to set up Alli but his shot is comfortably saved by the Marine keeper.

White's free kick is against the wall.

Free kick for Spurs 30 yards from goal. Hughes bringing down Gedson. Rule of thumb with keepers at this level is they can save shots but too small to dominate box.

Marine starting solidly. They look well-organised and not making it easy for Spurs when they get into their half. Allowing Spurs the ball in their own half.

Spurs get the game underway...

The Spurs players walk onto the field, followed by the potential giant-killers. A few faces are squeezed into the corners of the ground to cheer Marine on.

Just a reminder why it is so special. They are just the first eighth tier club to reach the third round since Chasetown in 2007/08.

Absolutely Captain Obvious statement...but seeing the clips of Crosby folk talking about the game you do wish they could have had a crowd in there.

Just the three defenders Doherty, Aderweireld and Davies in the side from Tottenham's 3-0 victory over Leeds. Son and Bale are on the bench.

25,000 virtual tickets Marine have sold. Have to say that's heartwarming stuff.

It does look very cold at Marine.

'This is what the third round of the Cup is all about', is said a lot. Never more true here. This could surely wipe the cynicism out of anyone.

Lovely touch from Spurs fans this.

Here are Spurs arriving at the ground. Gonna say they don't look overly up for it. Obviously this judgment will be revised if they are three goals up after twenty minutes.

Here is the Marine bus being cheered as it approaches the ground. Would usually love these scenes but you do worry about social distancing in current climate.

Here are the potential heroes for Marine.

This is the side Jose Mourinho is sending out to deal with the potential banana skin.
