Hello and welcome to Eurosport's coverage of today's early FA Cup clash between Southampton and Arsenal. I'm Ciaran Baynes and I'll be following the game with you.

Even though Arsenal were much better in the last half-hour, Southampton are full value for their victory. Thanks for following the match with us.

The ball falls to Nketiah in the box and he shot firmly but sliced his effort high and wide of the target.

Xhaka gives away a corner which will suit Southampton as they look to tick away the clock.

Lovely looking ball from the left flank from Saka which is just too far in front of Lacazette.

Penalty? Long seemed to be brought down in the box by Holding but the referee and VAR official combine to quickly decide it is a corner.

Long comes on for Ings who has played very well on his return.

He can hit a good free kick but this wasn't one of them. He fires wastefully high over the bar.

Pepe is brought down by Bertrand on the right hand edge of the penalty area.

Ings hits an effort from twenty yards out that you wondered for a moment whether might catch Leno out but the Gunners keeper parries away above his head.

So close! A fine ball from Nketiah plays in Pepe whose effort is blocked by Forster and then Nketiah with the follow up sees his effort blocked by Ward-Prowse on the line. Pepe was offside anyway so it was all moot.

Cedric with a fine cross but Bednarek gets there just in front of Lacazette. He and Arsenal look a lot better with him at right back, Cedric.

Again Willian has a chance, found inside the left hand side of the area he turns inside but Walkers-Peters blocks his shot.

Willian puts in a dangerous cross from the left flank that Southampton just about clear. Looking increasingly dangerous Arsenal.

Another change for Arsenal with Lacazette coming on for Bellerin. Cedric will go to right back and Saka to left back.

Good save from Forster. Pepe plays a fine low ball in from the left flank that Nketiah pokes towards goal and it deflects off Stephens and Forster has to stretch his left leg to keep it out.

A fine ball from Ward-Prowse plays in Adams whose square ball is just in front of Walcott. Ings then retrieves at the far post and pulls back to Walcott whose effort flies over the bar.

One thing Partey is not great at is shooting, a long range effort far from troubling Forster.

A good period of play by Arsenal. Nketiah suddenly is in the game. They are competing in the final third and Partey is winning the ball in midfield.

Chance for Holding! He competed for an aerial challenge after a short corner was shipped in and then swung his leg at the ball only managing to spoon it over the bar.

Partey time! The £45 million midfielder comes on for Elneny. Saka also comes on for Martinelli. Would have chosen one of the other forwards personally.
