That was extremely enjoyable, but Wycombe might just've muffed their chance.

I mean, who knows! Moura takes a corner short to Davies, who sticks a cross directly into yon mixer. Sanchez is up but Tanganga is there first ... only to head against the bar! Ikpeazu then clears, and that's another chance gone for Spurs! Wycombe will be starting to believe!

There'll be three added minutes.

McCarthy takes on the shot, curling it around the near side of the wall and into the near post side-netting. It was concerning enough for Hart to dive for it, but I'm sure he was just making sure.

Excellent from Ikpeazu, who holds the ball up and fights off Alderweireld, then wears a foul from Winks. Free-kick Wycombe, 25 yards out, left of centre...

It's a weird thing to say given that Spurs have had such good chances, but in general play, things have been pretty even.

There's been a lot going on in this half. Spurs could easily have scored four, while Wycombe might well have had two.

Bale eases forward then injects some pace as he moves across the face of the box, sliding a pass that tees up Sissoko for a curler. Naturally his execution is miserable, but Charles sticks a leg in the way and the ball flicks off him and rams the bar ... then bounces directly into Allsop's arms! Which is also the name of a pub in Marylebone.

Jacobson can't carry on and is replaced by Darius Charles. That's a big loss for them.

Spurs win a corner down the left and Moura's ball in isn't bad, but Jacobson, though he can't beat Vinicius to the ball, can do enough to stop him heading on target.

Getting skinned by Bale has left Jacobson down, gingerly feeling his groin. For a while it looks like he'll have to go off, but he walks to the touchline and looks keen to return. as you would.

But here come Spurs, Moura wriggling forward and sliding a pass over to Bale on the right. Jacobson reckons he's coming inside onto his left foot but instead he chucks a couple of lollipops, goes past Jacobson on the outside, ad screws a shot into the side-netting.

Spurs have all sorts on the bench - your Sons, your Kanes, your etceteras - but those on the pitch won't want the shame of requiring their salvation.

GOAL! Wycombe Wanderers 1-0 Tottenham Hotspur (Onyedinma) Have a look! Ikpeazu turns Alderweireld, who gets too close in pursuit of bouncing ball. His cross is low and kicks off Sissoko - of course it does - and Onyedinma keeps his composure to sweep inside the near post! Now then.

...but it beats everyone in the middle. Wycombe, though, keep at it and win a throw deep inside the Spurs half (of which nothing comes).

Grimmer sticks a ball in behind for Onyedinma, and he wins a corner off Sanchez. Jacobson will swing ths out...

Wycombe will be pleased with how this is going. Spurs have had a couple of chances, but it was the home side who seriously worked the opposing keeper.

Lamela lives near me, and I can confirm that outside his yard there is a Spurs mat. I can also confirm that he has "Lumma" on his Range Rover, which I can only assume is his extremely smart nickname.
