Bayern Munich tried to sign Callum Hudson-Odoi last year and are reportedly interested again, despite already bringing in Leroy Sane from Manchester City. Hudson-Odoi faces fresh competition from summer signings Hakim Ziyech and Kai Havertz on the Chelsea flanks.

Bayern Munich are reportedly showing interest in Cheslea’s Callum Hudson-Odoi again.
The Bundesliga champions tried to sign Hudson-Odoi in January 2019 and were also linked with a move last summer.
It looked as though they had missed out as the 19-year-old signed a new five-year deal in September, but Sky Germany say Bayern have now revived their interest.
Hudson-Odoi made 33 appearances during Frank Lampard's first season in charge. However, he only made seven starts in the Premier League and this season faces increased competition for a place from summer signings Hakim Ziyech and Kai Havertz.
Bayern have already strengthened in attack with the addition of Leroy Sane from Manchester City, but have seen Ivan Perisic return to Inter Milan from his loan spell.

RB Leipzig and Juventus are also thought to be admirers of Hudson-Odoi.

Expert view - Marc Hlusiak (Eurosport Germany)

It's no secret that Bayern sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic is a big fan of Hudson-Odoi. Now that Perisic has left the club and Coutinho wasn't as good as expected, Bayern seem to fancy another attempt. Sky Germany is a reliable source and they say that Bayern have contacted Hudson-Odoi and his team. But Bayern have not contacted Chelsea yet.
Bayern still thinks that it would be a good move to bring him to Munich - and I think the same. Bayern need young talent on their wings. Sane, Gnabry, Coman and maybe Hudson-Odoi - that would be huge.
Leipzig has no chance, in my opinion. His contract is just too big. 8.5 million a year? Leipzig will not pay that.
