We’re back for another day of transfer news and rumours as teams look to try and get as much business done. The club season is over and the transfer window is opened for business as of June 9. With Euro 2020 starting today, Premier League clubs are already starting to make their moves and line up some new arrivals before the summer of international football begins.

19:00 - Fletcher signs for Watford

Actual news! Former Middlesbrough striker Ashley Fletcher has signed for Watford, who continue to chase promotion back to the Premier League.

17:00 - Details of United's Sancho bid

News broke yesterday that Manchester United finally, after a full year of speculation, made an offer for Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho.
The Athletic has details on that offer, which was reportedly worth €78m plus €10m in add-ons. However, it's claimed Dortmund want a package worth around €100m.

There is, however, confidence at Old Trafford that Manchester United are much closer to getting a deal done for Sancho than they were last summer.
Sancho is reportedly pushing for a return to the Premier League and wants a deal to happen in this transfer window.

16:45 - Rose in talks with Watford

Danny Rose is in talks with Watford over a move to Vicarage Road following his release from Tottenham Hotspur.
The left back had become something of a forgotten figure at Spurs, failing to make a single Premier League appearance for the North London club last season.
Now, though, Rose is looking to kick-start his career and Watford are keen to sign the 30-year-old following their promotion back to the Premier League.
That's according to Sky Sports who report discussions between the two parties have taken place.

16:30 - Another manager linked to Everton!

Yesterday, it was Fatih Terim and Rafael Benitez linked with the Everton job. This was after Eddie Howe, Graham Potter and Nuno Espirito were all reported to be candidates.
Today, another name has been thrown into the mix - Rudi Garcia. According to L'Equipe (via Goal), the Toffees are in contact with the former Lyon boss.

Garcia has recently been linked with Spartak Moscow, but would prefer to stay in Europe's top five leagues. That's to Everton's advantage.
But given the number of names that have been linked with the post since Carlo Ancelotti left last week, do Everton really know what sort of manager they want?

16:10 - Inter make move for Emerson Royal

His arrival at Barcelona was only confirmed last week, but Emerson Royal might be on his way out of the Camp Nou with Inter interested in the full back.
Barca's signing of Emerson, who they held a purchase option on, was reportedly always made with the intention of selling the player on.
Gianluca di Marzio reports Inter have opened discussions with Barcelona over the full back who shone for Real Betis in La Liga last season.

15:50 - Kroos wants Ramos to stay at Real

Earlier today we brought you the news Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos has reportedly been offered a five-year contract by Sevilla.
Ramos' contract at Real Madrid will expire this summer, but teammate Toni Kroos says he wants the veteran defender to stay in the Spanish capital.

"I don't know how things are going with the club," said the German midfielder. "Of course he's a top colleague and I enjoyed very much playing with him and I really hope that we'll have some more years together," the midfielder told reporters.
"But in the end it's not my decision. What I can say is that he's a great guy - and the best captain I ever had in my career."

15:35 - Xhaka opens up on transfer talk

By many accounts, Granit Xhaka is close to leaving Arsenal and the Swiss midfielder has now commented on reports linking him with Roma.
Jose Mourinho is believed to be keen on taking Xhaka with him to the Stadio Olimpico with a £17m deal thought to be in the offing.
"There are always rumours as soon as the transfer market opens but I don’t want to talk about my future,"
when asked about the reports.
"I am 100 per cent focused here with the national team. What happens afterwards, you will then get to know about it."

15:15 - Donnarumma 'one step away' from PSG

One of the biggest transfer sagas of the summer might be about to reach a conclusion with Gianluigi Donnarumma reportedly "one step away" from joining Paris Saint-Germain.
That's according to Calcio Mercato who claim the Italian national team goalkeeper will earn €12m a year in the French capital having left AC Milan as a free agent.

Donnarumma had been linked with Juventus, but Fabio Paratici's impending switch to Tottenham Hotspur has disrupted their talks with the 22-year-old. PSG it is, then.

15:00 - Which Euro 2020 players will get moves?

You know how it is - there are always players who get a big transfer on the back of their performances at a major tournament. So who will do that at Euro 2020?
Dean Jones has information on five little-known talents who could catch the eye this summer and earn themselves a transfer.

14:40 - Liverpool target Neuhaus

Liverpool are reportedly targeting Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Florian Neuhaus as a replacement for Georginio Wijnaldum.
SPORT1 reporter Florian Plettenberg claims Jurgen Klopp sees Neuhaus as a potential target as he looks to fill the void left by Wijnaldum at Anfield.
Plettenberg adds that there is no release clause in Neuhaus' Gladbach contract and so it could take a fee of around €40m to sign him this summer.
It might only be now that he's gone that Wijnaldum's contribution to this Liverpool team is fully recognised.

14:25 - Fonseca has 'verbal agreement' with Spurs

Tottenham Hotspur have a "verbal agreement" with former Roma boss Paulo Fonseca to take over as their new manager.
That's according to The Athletic who say the North London club are closing in on the appointment of Fonseca as Jose Mourinho's successor.
Of course, this raises the interesting prospect of Fonseca replacing Mourinho at Spurs and Mourinho replacing Fonseca at Roma. Swapsies!
How will Tottenham fans feel about this? Is Fonseca really the best candidate for the job when Antonio Conte and Mauricio Pochettino were considered.

13:35 - Griezmann at Juve... would it work?

Going back to the Calcio Mercato story on Barcelona offering Griezmann to Juventus as a potential replacement for Ronaldo - would it work?
Griezmann has struggled to find his true role at Barca since making the move from Atletico Madrid two summers ago, so would he fit in better at Juve?

13:20 - Kepa to Lazio?

Maurizio Sarri was announced as Lazio's new manager yesterday and the Rome club are already looking at ways to strengthen their squad.
Gazzetta dello Sport has information on how Lazio are looking at a number of "low cost" targets have been identified, of which Kepa Arrizabalaga and Ruben Loftus-Cheek are two.

These would have to be loan deals, but Sarri has experience of working with both players during his time at Chelsea and would be keen to see either, or both, at Lazio.
Chelsea, however, might prefer to sell Kepa in partiuclar for a transfer fee. Can they find a buyer, though?

13:05 - Lenglet has no plans to leave Barca

Clement Lenglet is reportedly one of the players Barcelona are willing to sell this summer. However, the Frenchman has no intention of leaving the Camp Nou.
That's according to Mundo Deportivo who say Lenglet has been offered to Roma as Barca attempt to slash their colossal wage bill.
Lenglet doesn't want to leave Barcelona, though, and will reportedly reject any offers from other clubs, including Roma, this summer.

12:45 - City and United weighing up Mendes bid

Nuno Mendes is a name that has surfaced in this live blog over the last few days and there is more talk about him in the Portuguese press today.
O Jogo (via Sport Witness) have details on how Manchester City and Manchester United are weighing up whether or not to make a bid for the teenage left back this summer.

Mendes was a key part of the Sporting CP team that won the Portuguese title last season and could play a part for Portugal at Euro 2020.
However, reports claim Sporting CP will demand at least €50m for a player who only has one season of senior level football under his belt.

12:20 - Done deal! Foyth to Villarreal!

Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed that Villarreal have activated a clause to sign Juan Foyth permanently.
Foyth spent last season on loan at Villarreal, making 29 appearances in all competitions as he helped the Yellow Submarine to glory in the Europa League.
Villarreal were so impressed by the Argentine defender that they have no made the move to sign him permanently. Probably a good transfer all for concerned.

11:55 - United 'confident' of signing Sancho

Yesterday was a big day in Manchester United's pursuit of Jadon Sancho as they reportedly had an official bid rejected for the Borussia Dortmund winger.
Despite this, United are "confident" of signing the England international this summer, according to ESPN who have details of the bid that was tabled.
Negotiations have been described as "smooth" with Manchester United already at an advanced stage in terms of agreeing personal terms with Sancho.
Dortmund and United are still believed to be around €20m apart in the deals they want, but the gap is much closer than it was last summer.

11:40 - Barca offer Juve Griezmann as Ronaldo replacement

Barcelona have reportedly offered Antoine Griezmann to Juventus as a potential replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo.
Ronaldo's future remains up in the air as he considers whether to stay in Turin or join Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain or Real Madrid, who are all believed to be interested this summer.

Calcio Mercato claims Barca have seen an opportunity to offload Griezmann, selling Juventus on the idea of signing the Frenchman to replace Ronaldo.
Griezmann is fresh off the back of his best season for Barca, but the Camp Nou club needs to slash its wage bill and this could be a way to do that.

11:20 - Sevilla offer Ramos five-year deal!

Sergio Ramos is set to become a free agent this summer and Sevilla reportedly see this as an opportunity to lure the veteran defender back to the club.
El Primer Palo (via the Daily Mail) claims Sevilla have tabled a five-year deal that includes a £6m salary in an effort to get Ramos back to the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.
Ramos left Sevilla back in 2005 and went on to become one of the most significant figures in Real Madrid's history, captaining the club to countless titles.
But relations between Ramos and the Real Madrid hierarchy have broken down and that could see him leave this summer.

11:05 - Moyes secures new contract

David Moyes has reportedly secured a new three-year deal as West Ham manager after leading the club into the Europa League last season.
The former Everton and Manchester United manager has surpassed all expectations at the London Stadium with West Ham even in top four contention for much of last season.

According to The Times, Moyes has been rewarded for this with a new three-year contract that will give him the freedom to continue building.
Everton were reportedly keen on taking Moyes back to the club this summer, but the Scot seems to be happy where he is in East London.

10:45 - Real Madrid would sell Varane for €60m

Real Madrid would reportedly be open to selling Raphael Varane for a transfer fee of €60m this summer amid interest from Manchester United.
Varane, who has just one year left on his Real Madrid contract, has been mentioned as a potential target for the Old Trafford club as they look to add a new centre back to their squad.
El Partidazo de COPE claim Real Madrid are willing to listen to offers for the Frenchman due to his contract situation and have set an asking price.
Keep in mind that Sergio Ramos is also out of contract at Real Madrid this summer!

10:30 - Update on Thuram to Spurs

Tottenham Hotspur are keen on signing Marcus Thuram from Borussia Monchengladbach this summer and more information on their pursuit of the forward has surfaced.
BILD has quotes from Gladbach chief Max Eberl who has denied reports that there is a release clause in Thurman that would allow Spurs to sign him on the cheap.
“As of now, there is no longer any player with us who has an exit clause," said Eberl. "We live in a time when nothing can be excluded."
However, the report states that a fee of over €40m would be enough to convince Gladbach to sell one of their best players this summer.

10:15 - Sancho on United speculation

Jadon Sancho says he's "cool" about intense transfer speculation linking him with Manchester United and won't allow it to shake his focus ahead of the Euros.
“I’m cool about it,” Sancho told talkSPORT. “There’s always going to be speculation, especially when you do well.

“It’s just how you handle that on the pitch. You’ve got to keep doing what you’re doing; if you keep on doing that then I’m sure that won’t be a problem.
“The main thing is my football and that’s what I’m focusing on at the moment.”

10:00 - United interest in Coman

The big news yesterday was that Manchester United had a bid rejected for Jadon Sancho, but he's not the only Bundesliga winger they're interested in.
According to SPORT1 journalist Florian Pettenberg, United have also registered an interest in Bayern Munich wide man Kingsley Coman.
Coman and Bayern Munich are believed to be in a bit of a standoff over a new contract and so it's possible that the Frenchman could depart the Allianz Arena.

09:40 - Aurier agrees PSG personal terms

Serge Aurier has edged closer to the Tottenham Hotspur exit door by reportedly agreeing personal terms with Paris Saint-Germain.
Football Insider reports that the Ivory Coast international is in talks with PSG over a return to the Parc des Princes and that a move is close to being finalised.

PSG will apparently sign Aurier, who is out of contract at Spurs in 2022, on a four-year deal with all parties keen for an agreement to be reached soon.
I hope PSG have a goalkeeper who can save penalties...

09:25 - Lewandowski wants new challenge

Robert Lewandowski wants a new challenge and would like to sample a new culture and country, opening the door for Real Madrid to make a move, according to reports.
Spanish newspaper AS claims the Polish striker is ready to move on from Bayern Munich where he has spent the last seven years of his career.
The report also references how Lewandowski's "dream" is to play for Real Madrid, who have previously shown an interest in the player and would be interested again should he become available.

09:10 - Milinkovic-Savic as a replacement for Gini?

Liverpool reportedly see Sergey Milinkovic-Savic as a potential replacement for Georginio Wijnaldum after the Dutchman left to sign for Paris Saint-Germain.
That's according to Italian newspaper Il Messagero who say Milinkovic-Savic is on Liverpool's radar and that the Serbian could be available for €60m.
