Keylor Navas was a regular starter for Paris Saint-Germain for three seasons following his transfer from Real Madrid in 2019, but the Costa Rica international has not been the first choice under PSG boss Philippe Gautier. With the 36-year-old keen to play first team football, he has decided to join Premier League strugglers Nottingham Forest on loan until the end of the season.

Ten Hag says Eriksen will be 'hard to replace' after ankle injury

Three-time Champions League winner Keylor Navas has joined Nottingham Forest on loan until the end of the season.
The Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper has not played for the French club in the league this season with Italy international Gianluigi Donnarumma holding down the No. 1 spot.
Forest's first choice goalkeeper Dean Henderson - on loan from Manchester United - picked up a thigh injury in the East Midlands derby against Leicester City earlier this month and could be out until March.
It means Forest only have one fit senior goalkeeper in Wayne Hennessey, but the Premier League club had reportedly been in the market for a goalkeeper all window.
The deal had reportedly hit a snag due to Navas' wages, but Forest have been able to come to an agreement with the Ligue 1 champions.
Navas has made 108 appearances for PSG since his arrival from Real Madrid in 2019.
At Madrid he won 12 trophies during a five-year spell, including three UEFA Champions League titles and one La Liga title. At PSG he has won two Ligue 1 titles and back-to-back Coupe de France trophies.
Nottingham Forest have been one of the more active Premier League clubs in the January transfer window, making six signings in total.
Gustavo Scarpa, Brandon Aguilera, Danilo and Chris Wood have also joined the Midlands club in January.
