Not a classic by any means. And not a good result nor much positive to come out of the game for Nuno Santo, other than some minutes into Bryan Gil. One wonders if he will call on any first-teamers in a weeks time in the second leg. Thanks for following the match with us.

Five minutes of injury time are to be played.
The free kick is tapped to Antunes who then blasts low against the wall.
Bit embarrassing there from Carters-Vickers who attempts to clear a ball but gets it stuck under him and ends up giving free kick away at the edge of his box
Nice singing of Hey Jude with the leading chorus being replaced by Pacos from the home fans in attendance.
Lucas Silva and Helder come off for Delgado and Uilton for Pacos.
Spurs camped in the Pacos half now but struggling to create a clear chance.
Nuno Santos is replaced by Matchoi.
Sessegnon cuts in from the left flank and then fires high over the bar.
Romero comes through the back of Lucas Silva on the halfway line and the forward is down getting treatment.
Bryan controls the ball beautifully in the box and draws defenders before sliding it back to Scarlett on the edge of the box but he cannot control it.
Sessegnon gets behind the defence and slides a ball across the six-yard box but it is cleared for a corner.
Winks brings down Denilson just as he was about to race towards the goal and he is a little annoyed there is no yellow card shown.
Nice link up between Sessegnon and Scarlett puts the latter through in the left hand side of the area before the striker gives away a free kick.
Clarke comes on for John for Spurs.
Pacos get us back underway.
And that his half time. An awful way to end the half for Spurs but you can't really say it was undeserved. A wonderful ball from Nuno Santos to set up the goal.
GOAL FOR PACOS! Lucas Silva breaks the offside trap and drives the ball past Gollina at his near post.
Scarlett in the action for the first time really, he gets to the by-line and tries to play the ball back to lo Celso but it is easily intercepted.
Winks plays a ball through to Bryan on the left flank but he is flagged offside, an erroneous decision as Scarlett in the centre was off and not him.
Very little action to speak about at present. Sessegnon was brought down by Eustaquio which could have brought the Pacos defender a yellow card.
Denilson has the second shot on target an audacious attempt at a chip from 40 yards which is straight into Gollina's midriff.
The referee evens it up with Helder picking up a yellow card too.
Davies gets a yellow card for clouting an opponent with an elbow inadvertently while battling for the ball.
Nice touch from Lo Celso to play in Doherty on the right flank but the defender covers well to put out for a corner.
Luiz Carlos tries to curl the free kick over the wall but the defenders do their job and it strikes a leaping player and is cleared.
Carters-Vickers fells Denilson 25 yards from goal in a central area. Worrying moment for Spurs. Gollina looking into the sun too.
Tottenham under the cosh at present, only a crucial touch from Nile John stops Denilson having a chance at the back post from a free kick from the left flank.
The first shot of the game from Nuno Santos from the edge of the box but Gollina is comfortably behind it.
Almost a chance for Helder coming in from the right flank but Sessegnon gets in a challenge on the edge of his box and Davies clears.
Not a great deal of action at present as both sides taking time on the ball, mostly in the hosts' half.
Pacos have a chance on the break from a quick throw but Denilson can't control the ball. Danger moment for Spurs.
Lovely interplay with Bryan and Winks before the latter is brought down. They are not afraid of leaving a foot in the Portuguese side. Lo Celso puts the free kick into the box which the hosts clear.
Big call alert...but Bryan reminds me of a certain former Spurs midfielder who went on to win the Ballon d'Or/
Sessegnon had to score. A wonderful run down the left flank from Bryan and he puts the ball on a plate for the former Fulham player on the six-yard box but the ball got stuck under his feet and he could not get a shot in before the defenders converged on him.
Bryan gets the ball and puts a lovely move on a Pacos player before being brought down.
Tottenham get us underway...
We're just about ready to go between Spurs and the fifth place side in last year's Primeira Liga.
Nearly ready to go with a competition, I'm not gonna lie I wasn't that aware of before this week. The winner of the Conference League will receive a place in next year's Europa League so worth the ten games or so this will take isn't it? Maybe...
Needless to say, none of the starters from Sunday's victory over Manchester City are involved. Doherty, Lo Celso and Romero are in the xi after coming on as late substitutes in the 1-0 win.
This is how the hosts will line up...
There is certainly something for Spurs fans to look forward to in the debut of Bryan Gil, and, perhaps to a lesser extent, Pierluigi Gollini (goalkeeper not referee). Cristian Romero makes his first full start after coming on for injury time against Manchester City.
Sad to see Harry Kane not taking a part in this match. Probably not worth getting cup-tied from European competition you'd have to say.
This is the side Spurs are sending out for their first game in this erm... prestigious competition.
