OK, that’s not entirely true but after Cristiano Ronaldo's Portugal won the Nations League, Virgil van Dijk proved to be the catalyst for Liverpool's Champions League success, and Lionel Messi shone for Barcelona as they clinched La Liga title, it could be a close one this year.
