FULL TIME! England have survived a fightback from Scotland to secure a 2-1 opening day victory. Nikita Parris scored an opener before Ellen White doubled the lead. The Scots pulled one back through Claire Emslie.

It hasn't been a good second half for England, but they should see this out if they manage it properly. Carney has been a real calming influence.

Coming up to the half hour mark, and it is a crucial part of the game. If England can a second, this game becomes very tough for Scotland.
Weir's free kick goes all the way through for Scotland. That is a warning for England.
Lovely move by England and Parris is again at the heart of it, driving from the right. The switch of play to Beth Mead on the left is impressive, but she can't take advantage and nothing comes of it.
OFFSIDE! White finishes well from Walsh's pass but it won't count.
WHAT A SAVE! Bronze gets in again and crosses for White, who sees her effort blocked superbly by Alexander.
Parris' first ever penalty for England. It was emphatic.
CHANCE! Superb linkup between White and Kirby as the Chelsea midfielder hits just wide. The pattern of this game is beginning to cement itself now.
England much more settled now. Parris cutting inside is allowing Bronze to impact the play.
That decision did seem a little harsh against Nicola Docherty, but Scotland have to stay calm.

Very open game so far, both sides really pushing on early. Scotland managing to find an outball whenever they go forward. Nikita Parris finding space in the inside right position as Fran Kirby gets forward to join Ellen White upfront.
Bronze gets forward again, but is caught out of possession and Scotland break through Cuthbert, who is marshalled well by England captain Steph Haughton.
Lucy Bronze gets forward for the first time and links well with Scott. Her cross wins an England corner, but it is cleared.
Bright start by Scotland, who aren't afraid to press high. Kim Little already involved. No real chances to speak of but England yet to get going.
Early foul on Jill Scott, an experienced midfielder for England. She could be crucial today.

The last time these sides met, England ran out 6-0 winners. But it is unlikely to be that simple today. Scotland are unbeaten in five, having won four, including a victory over Brazil. England, meanwhile, are looking to bounce back from defeat to New Zealand in a warm-up game last weekend.
