Northern Ireland bring back Hearts striker Kyle Lafferty for their World Cup play-off first leg with Switzerland at Windsor Park.

Lafferty is the one change for Michael O'Neill's side from their 1-0 defeat by Norway in their final group qualifier last month as he replaces Conor Washington.

Steven Davis earns his 100th cap for Euro 2016 qualifiers Northern Ireland, who are bidding to reach their first World Cup finals since 1986. They have won seven of their past seven competitive matches at home.

Switzerland start with Xherdan Shaqiri of Stoke and Arsenal midfielder Granit Xhaka as they bid to take a positive result back to Basel for the return leg on Sunday.

Switzerland lost only one their qualifiers to Portugal in their final group match.
