STAT: Since losing three games in the 2014 World Cup qualification campaign (including defeat by England), Poland have lost just three of their subsequent 32 matches in World Cup/European Championship qualifying (W23 D6).

Mount does brilliantly down the left to set Sterling rampaging at the heart of the Poland defence. His overcooked pass is well controlled by Foden, who tries to jink in from the left, but ends up going down under a clumsy challenge. The referee isn't interested and the visitors are able to bring it clear.

Mount and Chilwell open Poland up down the left. The full back motors to the byline but Foden can't get over his clipped cross and heads way over the top.

England have had 86 per cent of the possession but Wojciech Szczesny has had as much to do as Pope so far.

England have had all of the ball in these very early stages. It's mainly come down the left, but so far Poland have handled it quite well.

This is the seventh World Cup group stage qualification campaign that sees England take on Poland. It's the most of two nations in the history of European World Cup qualifying.
