Vitaioli and Censoni are on for San Marino in place of two of the players on bookings, Tomassini and D’Addario.

Maguire, Phillips and Foden make way for England, and on come Chilwell, Abraham and Gallagher. That’s an England debut for the Crystal Palace star.

England get the game back underway and there have been a number of changes for both teams at the break.

A Phillips cross is cut out just ahead of Kane as he looks for his fifth goal of this extraordinary first half.

GOOOAAALLL!!! Harry Kane again. This is getting silly. Kane drives into the box, jinks around a defender with a silky bit of footwork and then picks out the bottom corner for his fourth goal in this first-half. 6-0.

Four of Ian Wright’s nine goals for England came in a game against San Marino, but that effort is at risk of being eclipsed this evening.

Two hat-tricks in a week, both scored in the first half of international matches. It’s been a brilliant couple of games for Kane, and he looks in the mood to really rack up the numbers tonight.

GOOOAAALLL!!! Harry Kane has a hat-trick in San Marino as he picks out the top corner with a peach of a penalty that no keeper would have got near. 5-0.

Penalty! Saka’s dinked cross is headed goalwards by Kane and blocked by the arms of a defender. It’s another spot-kick and a chance for a hat-trick inside 40 minutes.

Smith-Rowe and Saka are linking up well down England’s left, which is where much of the threat is coming. Another dangerous cross almost picks out Kane for the hat-trick.

Ramsdale is called into action on his England debut, palming away a decent shot from Nanni from range.

GOOOAAALLL!!! It’s another for Kane as he slices home Smith-Rowe’s clipped cross. It’s not a clean strike particularly, but picks out the bottom corner. 4-0.

Kane will be pleased to get on the scoresheet in a game where many will argue he shouldn’t be required.

Penalty! VAR has a long look at replays and calls the ref over to the screen to look at a rather strange handball as that Foden effort drifted wide, and it’s a penalty to England. Harry Kane will take it.

Saka’s cross picks out Foden in acres of space in the box and the playmaker attempts a scissor-kick that slides wide. He probably had time to take that down, but was nevertheless close to a spectacular third for England.

Bellingham, who is looking typically classy in midfield tonight, steps inside his man and goes for goal from range. He slips on making contact though and it’s an easy save. That’s not the first England slip of the night, something to keep an eye on.
