Vettel is pushing very hard on his final lap and he continues to lead the way with his 1:40.091.

Grosjean is the last to head out and he will have to make a near immediate impact.

ALONSO MISSES OUT! Huge news as Fernando Alonso fails to make it through to Q3 for the first time in 2013! He finishes in 11th. Also out are Di Resta, Button, Vergne, Maldonado and Bottas. Massa scrapes through.

1'

Webber will put on a new set of softs now as he lines up a final tilt - he's currently in fifth place on the timesheet.

3'

Button finds himself down in 15th now and he must make an impact towards the end of Q2 otherwise he will drop out along with Maldonado and others.

5'

Hamilton goes second, just 0.004s off Rosberg, and there are a lot of movers as we near the end point of Q2.

7'

Rosberg goes fastest with a 1:40.473 and he is now in the position he was with this amount of time remaining in Q1.

9'

Raikkonen is now fastest with a time of 1:40.473 and he's making a real impact already.

11'

The floodlights are on and the sun is setting over the Yas Marina circuit - it really is a sight.

13'

Button is racing round now on the softs, and it looks unlikely that anyone will venture on to the mediums in this session.

15'

Di Resta is again the first one out on the track for Q2 and he's on the soft tyres which could be a sign of what's to come.

-

The drivers to drop out from Q1 are: Gutierrez, Sutil, van der Garde, Bianchi, Pic and Chilton.

Sebastian Vettel wrapped up practice with his name on top of the leaderboard in yet another Red Bull one-two.
