VETTEL TAKES POLE! Sebastian Vettel storms to pole at Monza ahead of Red Bull team-mate Mark Webber and, remarkably, Hulkenberg takes third in the Sauber! Ferrari are absolutely gutted as Massa and Alonso take fourth and fifth, and that's a horrible result for the Italian team on home tarmac!
Alonso closes with a fast lap, but Hulkenberg is also flying! Vettel and Webber look set to lock out the front row!
Rosberg dips with a 1:28 but he will look to swiftly respond. Vettel's time is the quickest of the weekend so far - can he be pipped?
Red Bull look set to lock out the front row, with Alonso and Massa in hot pursuit and Rosberg fifth fastest as we head into the closing minutes.
Alonso goes faster than Massa with a time of 1:24.419, but Vettel quickly tops the timesheets with a 1:23.859.
Webber goes fastest with a 1:23.990, but Vettel is out and storming round in ominous fashion.
Both Toro Rossos dart out at the start of Q3, while both McLarens also make their presence known early on.
It's time for Q3, and Rosberg is the first man out this time!
REPORTS: Stewards are investigating Hamilton being blocked by Sutil in the Parabolica and onto the main straight.
HAMILTON IS OUT, RAIKKONEN IS OUT, GROSJEAN IS OUT! Hamilton is knocked out of the top 10 places as Perez makes a late charge and Button also improves. He ends up 12th and crashes out of Q2, as does Raikkonen and Perez. Both Lotuses are out.
Hamilton drops to 10th, and he and Raikkonen are really struggling to get out of Q2 here at Monza - real late drama!
Ricciardo returns to go third fastest with a 1:24.520, before Vettel absolutely smashes it with a 1:23.977 to move ahead of Alonso!
Alonso and Massa are leaving it late, while Webber and Vettel head out. Mercedes are hastily cleaning up Hamilton's car.
Rosberg goes quickest now - oh, the drama! - as he takes 0.311 off Alonso's best and Hamilton returns to the pits.
Alonso goes fastest with a time of 1:24.227, just quicker than Rosberg and Massa.
Grosjean misses the first chicane again and he looks to have locked up again there. Ricciardo is now back in the pits after that early foray, while Massa and Alonso close on fast laps.
Ricciardo sets a time of 1:24.746 on his first lap, while Hamilton and Raikkonen head out.
Ricciardo is the first man out, and most drivers are set to head out on the medium tyres once more.
Rosberg ended up second fastest in that session, 0.2s off Vettel, which will be very encouraging after the way he fared in final practice.
The end of Q1 sees Vettel as the fastest of the drivers with a time of 1:24.319, and the drivers to miss out are Pic, van der Garde, Bottas, Gutierrez and Sutil.
Maldonado goes 12th with a good lap in the dying minutes of the session, and Gutierrez cannot improve.

Lewis Hamilton, who will be chasing his fifth successive pole, was fourth quickest for Mercedes but team mate Nico Rosberg suffered an hydraulics problem and was last after getting in just five laps.
The triple world champion set himself up for qualifying with a fastest lap of one minute 24.360 seconds at Ferrari's home circuit. Fernando Alonso's best was 1:24.643, with the Spaniard splitting the Red Bull drivers on the timesheets. Australian Mark Webber was third for Red Bull.
The big question is whether anybody can beat Sebastian Vettel. Ever since second practice he has looked like he is in a class of his own.
