PYEONGCHANG, South Korea, Feb 20 (Reuters) - Cassie Sharpe produced a scintillating performance to win the ski halfpipe Olympic gold medal on Tuesday.

The Canadian's score of 95.80 was enough to defeat France's Marie Martinod, who claimed silver, and Brita Sigourney of the United States, who took home bronze. (Reporting by Jack Tarrant)
