Mikael Kingsbury continued his domination of men’s moguls with a second World Championship gold in Utah, edging out home favourite Brad Wilson in the men’s dual event.
Kingsbury won individual gold on Friday night and backed that up with another superb display in tough Utah conditions to claim a fifth World Championship medal from five appearances.
"I kind of have no words now because my goal all season was to win the world championship and now I did it," he said.
"The guys were skiing so fast today. I wasn’t the fastest in the red, but I know I was the cleanest skier and they rewarded me. Unbelievable."
Wilson scored 84.69 but Canadian Kingsbury bettered that with a total of 87.62, while Japan’s Daichi Hara took bronze.
