Panthers 3, Coyotes 2

Center Aleksander Barkov returned from the injured list to score twice, the go-ahead goal and the game-winner, as the first-place Florida Panthers defeated the Arizona Coyotes 3-2.
Barkov's second goal, off a centering pass from 44-year-old Jaromir Jagr, etched Jagr's name into the history books as the oldest player in NHL history to record 44 or more points in a season.

Rangers 2, Blues 1

Left winger Chris Kreider's goal in the third period broke a 1-1 tie and gave the New York Rangers and goalie Henrik Lundqvist a 2-1 victory over the St Louis Blues.
The win was the 30th of the season for Lundqvist, allowing him to reach that mark for the 10th time in his career.
He is the first goalie to win 30 or more games in 10 of his first 11 seasons and only the third with 10 or more 30-win seasons in his career, joining Martin Brodeur and Patrick Roy. It was the 369th win of his career.

Predators 3, Blackhawks 1

Left winger Calle Jarnkrok scored the tie-breaking goal with 1:51 remaining in the third period, lifting the Nashville Predators to a 3-1 victory over the Chicago Blackhawks.
Nashville (30-21-11) won its third consecutive game and improved to 8-0-2 in its past 10 road games, while the Blackhawks (38-20-5) lost their second consecutive game.

Blue Jackets 6, Devils 1

Left winger Nick Foligno recorded his second career hat trick and his first four-point game of the season, and the Columbus Blue Jackets broke out for an easy 6-1 win over the New Jersey Devils.
The Blue Jackets, who are 10-4-4 since Jan. 13, took a 3-0 lead after one period and were never challenged as the Devils (30-25-7) lost for the fourth time in five games.

Jets 6, Stars 3

Center Mark Scheifele had a goal and three assists, right winger Joel Armia added two goals and an assist, and goaltender Michael Hutchinson stopped 27 of 30 shots for the Winnipeg Jets in a 6-3 road win against the Dallas Stars.
The Jets snapped a four-game losing streak (0-3-1), while the Stars slipped to 38-18-6.

Flyers 3, Wild 2

The Philadelphia Flyers started an all-important six-game homestand on the right note, beating the Minnesota Wild 3-2.
Right winger Pierre-Edouard Bellemare broke a 2-2 tie with the game-winning goal 3:21 into the third period, helping the middling Flyers (27-22-11), who had lost seven of their previous 10 games.
The Wild (27-24-10), in the midst of a trying month, are now on their first losing streak under interim coach John Torchetti.

Maple Leafs 3, Hurricanes 1

Left winger Josh Leivo ended a tie with a second-period goal and the Toronto Maple Leafs went on to defeat the Carolina Hurricanes 3-1.
The Maple Leafs, who had lost their four previous games, one in overtime, improved to 21-28-10, while the Hurricanes fell 28-24-10.

Islanders 2, Flames 1 (overtime)

Josh Bailey scored with 17.8 seconds remaining in overtime to give the New York Islanders a win over Calgary.
Thomas Hickey also scored and Jaroslav Halak made 31 saves for the Islanders.
Jiri Hudler scored for the Flames.
