Russia take relay title in front of home fans

Russia made it four wins from four in the sprints at the luge World Cup in Sochi as they topped the standings in the relay.
Their total time of 2:45.272 saw them beat Germany by 0.072 seconds in front of their home fans.
Viktoriia Demchenko had the hosts in second after the opening leg, before Semen Pavlichenko moved them up to first on the second leg.
Doubles racers Aleksandr Denisev and Vladislav Antonov saw them home as they produced the fastest time in their portion of the race.
Latvia rounded off the podium as they finished 0.127 seconds behind the hosts.
