So maybe not the most dramatic race of the season, but Dani Pedrosa will take that. He has closed the world championship lead to 18 points ahead of Brno next week. Join us for that.

-

5. Alvaro Bautista; 6. Stefan Bradl; 7. Valentino Rossi; 8. Karel Abraham and Yonny Hernandez managed to get back up for ninth.

-

DANIE PEDROSA HAS THE WIN! Jorge Lorenzo is second, Andrea Dovizioso third and Casey Stoner has to settle for fourth - still a brave effort considering his crash yesterday.

1'

Final lap now - Pedrosa has the win, Dovizioso also looks safe in third.

2'

Aleix Espargaro has just gone head of Yonny Hernandez to take ninth.

2'

Lorenzo loses three seconds while caught in traffic but his second place is secure.

4'

Stoner gets close to Dovizioso but does not look to attack straight away - is he going to wait for the final lap? Pedrosa now 7.5 seconds clear at the front.

5'

Dovizioso seems to be gaining a little bit of breathing space on Stoner. 0.3 seconds faster in that last lap.

6'

And Stoner has been forced to yield! Dovizioso back into third. Can Stoner keep competing.

7'

This battle for third has at last provided us with some excitement. Stoner must be in some pain at this stage.

8'

Andrea Dovizioso pushing hard and getting closer to Casey Stoner.

9'

Karel Abraham has just zipped past Yonny Hernandez for eight position.

10'

A mistake from Pedrosa sees him lost over a second - but with nearly four seconds still to play with he should be okay.

11'

Pedrosa's lead is over five seconds and Lorenzo is more than 10 seconds ahead of Stoner so not much excitment at the front.

13'

Pedrosa is just flying - his lead is now nearly 4.3 seconds after a new fastest lap of 1'39"088.

14'

1. Pedrosa, 2. Lorenzo, 3. Stonr, 4. Dovizioso, 5. Bautista, 6. Bradl, 7. Rossi, 8. Espargaro the standings.

15'

Pedrosa will close the gap to just 18 points in the world championship standings if the top two remain as they are.

16'

Stoner now in third place and it would be no surprise if we finish as we are now. 1. Pedrosa. 2. Lorenzo and 3. Stoner.

17'

11 of the 28 laps gone so far. Pedrosa remains in control.

18'

Cal Crutchlow failed to get back on his bike and his race is over.

18'

Bautista has managed to overtake Bradl for fight place.

18'

Cal Crutchlow has fallen from his bike - he is looking to get back on while Randy De Puniet has also been forced to retire.

19'

Pedrosa's lead is 2.4 seconds ahead of Lorenzo and 10 seconds from Stoner in fourth.

20'

Dovizioso, Bradl and Stoner in a great battle for 3-5 and Stoner has just got ahead of Bradl for fourth.

20'

Danilo Petrucci, Michele Pirro and Ben Spies (while second) have all retired. Bradl in fourth now after getting back ahead of Stoner.

21'

Pedrosa meanwhile has smashed the track record as he extends his lead.

21'

DISASTER FOR SPIES!!!!! Smoke comes puffing out of his bike – the engine blows and he is out of the race.

22'

Pedrosa out of sight now. Lorenzo is chasing Spies for second. Stoner has Dovizioso in his sights.

23'

Pedrosa begins to pull away from Spies – nearly a second in front while Stoner continues his recovery from his poor start – he has just overtake Bradl for fifth.

24'

Yet again Pedrosa burns past Spies on the home stretch and this time he makes it stick. Stoner has manged to move up to sixth.

25'

Pedrosa takes Spies at the home stretch but then Spies gets the lead straight back at the next corner. A good battle brewing.

26'

Spies hanging onto this lead but Pedrosa is right behind him now – he has just had the fastest lap – bit of a gap to Lorenzo in third.

27'

First lap is in the books – Spies has got the lead and a little space from Pedrosa. Dovizioso is third, Lorenzo fourth, Bradl fifth and Bautista sixth and Stoner has dropped to seventh. Petrucci has crashed out.

28'

Spies leads from Predrosa and Dovizioso

28'
