PETRUCCI WINS THE ITALIAN GP
The Ducati rider holds P1, beating Marquez by less than half a tenth of a second. Dovizioso takes third, keeping Rins at bay who has to settle for fourth.
FINAL LAP!
Marquez takes the lead out of the slipstream into Turn 1, but Petrucci regains the lead. The trio exchange punches, but Petrucci holds the lead for now.
RINS LOSES TOUCH
Petrucci, Dovizioso, and Marquez are opening a gap to Rins. The top three are approaching the final lap neck and neck.
VERY CLOSE AT THE FRONT
Still only six tenths separate the leading quartet in the crucial stages of the race.
DOVIZIOSO TAKES THE LEAD (TEMPORARILY)
He comes out of the slipstream to pass his team-mate Petrucci, but the 9 fights back. As the Ducatis battle it out, Marquez and Rins continue to stalk them but currently do not attack.

Petrucci, Dovizioso, Marquez, and Rins are running superior pace.
LEADING QUARTET BREAKS AWAY
Petrucci, Marquez, Dovizioso, and Rins are head and shoulders above the rest of the field with several seconds between them and Nakagami in fifth, himself 1.5 seconds ahead of the next group of riders.
MILLER OUT
The Australian sets the fastest lap but crashes out of the race a few corners later at Turn 3.

BREATHING SPACE FOR PETRUCCI
The Ducati rider has upped the pace and gained a three tenths lead with Marquez and Dovizioso battling behind. Rins and Miller follow another three tenths back; no one else is able to go with the pace at the moment.
BAGNAIA OUT
The Ducati rider crashes out of sixth at Turn 4.
RINS ON THE CHARGE
The Suzuki rider battles past Petrucci and Dovizioso with some aggressive moves, but he can't hold the position against the Ducatis' straight line speed. Marquez and Miller continue to stalk them and with fights going on, Crutchlow and Bagnaia are closing in.
HOW DUCATI TOOK THE LEAD
Look back at the Ducatis flying past on the home straight.
FACTORY DUCATIS BATTLE EACH OTHER
Dovizioso and Petrucci blow punches which allows Rins, Marquez, and Miller to bunch up behind them.
DUCATIS ATTACK
Petrucci momentarily takes the lead before Dovizioso beats him to it out of the slipstream. Marquez goes from first to fifth within a lap but fights back to regain fourth from Rins.
YAMAHA STRUGGLE
Quartararo in ninth is currently the top Yamaha rider followed by Morbidelli in 10th. Rossi is down in 15th. Out front, Marquez has a three tenth lead over Dovizioso, Petrucci, Miller, and Rins - the Suzuki rider has some great opening speed.
CRUTCHLOW DROPS POSITION
The Ducatis fire through on the straight with Dovizioso up to second followed by Miller and Petrucci. Marquez continues to lead and seeks a breakaway.
MARQUEZ HOLDS THE LEAD
Crutchlow is up to second with Dovizioso in third who got a great launch from ninth on the grid.
WARM UP LAP
The riders are out on track for a last system check before lights out.
14/25 DUCATI IN CONTROL
Dovizioso and Petrucci are making the best of their top speed advantage and hold the top two spots. Only Marquez is able to hang on to them with Quartararo and Rins following around a second behind.
16/25 CAL CRUTCHLOW OUT
He loses the front at Turn 8 and is out of the race.
1/25 PETRUCCI TAKES THE LEAD
The Ducati riders storms to the lead from third on the grid. He is closely followed by Marquez and Quartararo.
25/25 PETRUCCI WINS THE ITALIAN GRAND PRIX
The home hero becomes only the second ever Italian rider to win on a Ducati in Mugello.
24/25 THREE-WAY BATTLE FOR THE WIN
Dovizioso, Petrucci, and Marquez are going into the final lap separated by less than two tenths of a second. Any of the three could win!
