The Spanish circuit has been on the MotoGP calendar since it opened in 1999, and replaced Jacarepagua in Brazil as the host of the final round in 2002.
Its new deal was announced by the local government on Tuesday, in an event attended by the CEO of MotoGP promoter Dorna, Carmelo Ezpeleta.
"We are thrilled that MotoGP will be returning to Valencia for another five years," said Ezpeleta.
"The new agreement to return to the track is fantastic for the championship, for the Comunitat Valenciana and for fans both in the region and worldwide, with the Circuit Ricardo Tormo always providing a unique and memorable event to end the season."
Fresh contracts for the Argentinian (through to 2019), Australian ('26), Czech ('20), German ('21) and San Marino ('20) Grands Prix have also been agreed this year, along with the Dutch TT ('26).
Valencia will host this year's finale on November 11-13 - the last race of the current deal - and the start of winter testing on the Tuesday and Wednesday after the race.
