Alvaro Bautista's streak of success continued in the Thailand sprint race - even though it was shorter than expected due to a red flag.

That incident occurred in Lap 6, when Moriwaki-Althea Honda's Leon Camier and Kawasaki Thailand's Thitipong Warokorn came together at the hairpin on the third turn.

At that point, Bautista on his Aruba-it Racing Ducati had already pulled clear having duelled in the early stages with Jonathan Rea, who came in second.

Alex Lowes of Pata Yamaha finished third.

Camier was later ruled unfit to compete over the rest of the day, while Warokorn was taken for further tests due to injuries to his head and chest.
