SUZUKA, Japan, Oct 11 (Reuters) - Haas team boss Guenther Steiner has been fined 7,500 euros for a radio outburst at the Russian Grand Prix two weeks ago when he lashed out at a "stupid, idiotic" steward at the end of the race.

Steiner was talking to his driver Kevin Magnussen over the radio at the end of the race after a five-second penalty handed to the Dane dropped him from eighth to ninth.
“If we didn’t have a stupid idiotic steward we would be eighth,” he said.
The Italian was summoned to the stewards at the Japanese Grand Prix on Friday to explain his outburst.
“While any factual criticism of steward panel decisions is always welcomed in private discussions with that panel, public personal attacks against individual officials are totally inappropriate and will not be accepted,” said the stewards.
Steiner had regretted his choice of words, they said, but still found him in breach of Formula One’s International Sporting Code. (Reporting by Abhishek Takle; editing by Peter Rutherford)
