The German dominated the field and followed up on his triumph in Trondheim on Wednesday with another consistent display in his home country.
The 27-year-old's time of 24:06.6 minutes meant he crossed the line a full 12.2 seconds clear of second placed Eero Hirvonen.
Akito Watabe completed the podium places and extended his World Cup standings lead to 202 points despite finishing 22.1 seconds behind Riessle.
Riessle, usually known for his very fast cross-country skiing, produced a fabulous 139.5 metres in the ski jumping round, giving him 143 points and a 21-second head start over Watabe.
Hirvonen delivered the longest jump of the day with 142.5 metres but only amassed 136.7 points meaning he'd start 25 seconds back from Riessle.
And the four-time Olympic medallist never looked in danger of surrendering his commanding position, keeping Watabe and Hirvonen comfortably at bay.
Hirvonen was able to push clear in the last lap to finish in second while Watabe had to hold off Eric Frenzel, finishing just 1.7 seconds clear of the German.
