The International Olympic Committee has called for a wider consultation on FIFA's plans to hold the World Cup every two years and said it shares concerns over the proposal. The IOC stance on the issue was revealed in a statement read out by IOC director of communications Mark Adams at a press conference on Saturday following an IOC Executive Board meeting in the Greek capital, Athens.
