Brit Watch: Success in skeleton as Dom Parsons takes first GB medal at PyeongChang

Dom Parsons led the way for Team GB on day seven at PyeongChang, picking up their first medal of the Games in the skeleton.

Despite being edged just outside of medal places after his second run, but a slip up by Martins Dukurs saw the Brit finish 11 hundredths of a second ahead, to secure bronze.
Meanwhile team-mate Jerry Rice finished in 10th place with an overall time of just under two seconds behind his compatriot.
Later on in the day, Lizzy Yarnold's campaign to defend her Olympic title started with flying colours as she set a new track record in her opening qualifying run, though her second run saw her drop to the bronze position overnight. Team-mate Laura Deas finished just behind her in fourth position.
There was disappointment in the slalom for Alex Tilley who failed to finish her slalom run, while team-mate Charlie Guest made an improvement on her first run, which saw her in 42nd place, to finish in 33rd.
Andrew Musgrave finished 28th in the men's 15km cross country skiing event, a disappointing following a decent qualifier that saw him billed as an outside hopeful for GB's first medal.
Snowboarder Zoe Gillings-Brier dropped out of the Snowboard Cross event at the quarter-final stage, finishing 13th. SHe later thanked her coach via Twitter and said: "Would like to have progressed but I was happy with what I could do on the day."
In the curling, GB's men lost out by 8-6 to Sweden in their fourth round robin match. The result leaves them in third place on the table and still in contention for a place in the semi-finals. They face Korea on Saturday.
