Winter Olympics Daily Schedule on Thursday: Will Mikaela Shiffrin finally start bid for history?
Events, times, highlights and British prospects on day six at the 23rd Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea.
THURSDAY'S HIGHLIGHTS (all times GMT)
High winds at the Yongpyong and Jeongseon Alpine Centres have wreaked havoc with the schedule resulting in a slew of postponements.
The result is bumper day 6 in Pyeongchang. The men’s downhill is sandwiched between the two runs of the women’s downhill.

THE MAIN EVENT
It is a bit difficult to be a multiple gold medallist in any sport, but opportunity knocks for Mikaela Shiffrin at the age of 22.
The teenage Shiffrin won gold in slalom in Sochi to become the youngest slalom champion in the history of the Games. She said then she hoped to win five golds at PyeongChang 2018.
But at least three would seem possible. She starts as favourite in the slalom, giant slalom and alpine combined. She could also win the downhill and super-G if she decides five is a possibility.
Her bid to create history should hopefully begin early on Thursday morning following continued weather delays so far in PyeongChang. You wouldn't want to miss it.
POSSIBLE HEADLINE MAKER
World champion Beat Feuz comes into the re-scheduled downhill the slight favourite, as tipped by Eurosport’s Bode Miller, ahead of 2014 bronze medallist Kjetil Jansrud, and Aksel Lund Svindal.
However, the beauty of downhill is its unpredictability – no one has ever won the Olympic title back to back, but it would be folly to rule out reigning champion and inform Matthias Mayer.
The downhill has produced a number of shock winners. Be sure to tune in at 02:30.
In the women's giant slalom, Alex Tilley will look to try and challenge for a top 15 or top 20 place in the giant slalom, having come 30th at last year's world championships.
Both the men’s and women’s teams are in action in the Curling, while Susan Dunklee goes in the biathlon at 08:15.
