Olympics Rio 2016: Touching moment as rugby player is surprised with marriage proposal

Isadora Cerullo missed out on making the knock-out rounds of the competition with her colleagues, but she and the squad were at the gold-medal match to mark the first-ever instance of women's rugby sevens at the Olympics.

And her partner, Marjorie Enya, the manager of the Deodoro Stadium where the matches were taking place, took the opportunity to propose.

Cerullo said yes!

“As soon as I knew she was in the squad I thought I have to make this special,” Enya told the BBC “I know rugby people are amazing and they would embrace it.”
