Rio 2016 Olympics: Great Britain make bright start to women's rugby sevens
Updated 06/08/2016 at 20:27 GMT
Great Britain's women rugby sevens won their first two games in the rugby sevens by comfortable margins.
Great Britain put in an inconsistent performance against Brazil, despite being heavy favourites, but still triumphed 29-3 in their opening match.
Joanne Watmore opened the scoring for England with the first ever try for a Team GB women's rugby team in Olympic history - and the team went on to score five.
Their second match of the day was a much improved display against Japan, with Amy Wilson Hardy, Alice Richardson, Watmore and Katy Mclean all scoring tries before half-time to give them a 26-0 advantage.
The scoring did not let up in the second half, with Emily Scott and Heather Fisher both taking the ball over the line to complete a resounding 40-0 win.
It was not all straightforward, though; Jasmine Joyce found herself in the sin-bin for throwing the ball away.
