The 33-year-old second rower was on Tuesday released by Widnes by mutual agreement, prompting rumours over his possible retirement.
But Tickle's agent Karl Harrison, of Elite Star Management, said: "Nothing could be further from the truth. He is fit and raring to go.
"He has been training on his own and looks in tremendous condition.
"He will be a tremendous asset for somebody and we are talking to several Super League clubs."
Tickle missed the start of the season after being involved in an incident outside a nightclub in Wigan in November.
The Vikings announced at the time that Tickle had been admitted to hospital with head injuries but was expected to make a full recovery and Harrison confirmed that is the case.
Tickle, who began his Super League career with Halifax in 2000, scored 248 points from 45 appearances for Widnes after joining them from Hull in 2014.
He played for his home-town team Wigan in the 2003 Grand Final team and was in the Hull side that lost to Wigan in the Challenge Cup final at Wembley in 2013 and also toured Fiji and Tonga with England A in 2002.
